The View Doesn’t Have Any Trans Women- Joe Rogan’s Insult to Whoopi Goldberg’s Show Looks Harmless When Compared to What His JRE Guest Said

Joe Rogan is no stranger to stirring the pot—whether it’s taking on Hollywood elites, diving deep into conspiracy theories, or offering his unfiltered opinions about literally anything. So, when he casually tossed a remark about The View (yes, the long-running, star-studded talk show that’s been airing since 1997), it’s no surprise the comment turned heads.

The unpredictable nature of Rogan’s podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, has kept fans coming back for more, constantly making headlines. But when it came to Whoopi Goldberg’s show, it wasn’t Rogan sparking the conversation; rather, it was his guest, Tim Dillon, who stole the spotlight.

Joe Rogan’s Dig at The View Seems Mild Next to His Guest’s Bold Take?

If you’ve ever wondered what happens when two strong-willed personalities collide—well, look no further than Joe Rogan and Whoopi Goldberg. Take, for example, the earlier chat on The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), where Rogan and his guest, Tim Dillon, threw out a question about The View that’s been quietly simmering for a while.

Well, here’s the thing: The View has been around for almost 30 years, tackling severe issues, led by an array of passionate women. But, as Rogan and Dillon pointed out, there’s one glaring omission. So, why isn’t there a trans woman in the lineup?

When Rogan asked this to Dillon, the latter didn’t hesitate, saying:

Great point. It has a lot of women that look trans but none of them…It has a lot of second and third takes after a drink, you’d go, ‘Huh,’ but it doesn’t have a ton of yeah.

Rogan, agreeing with the sentiment, responded flatly, “It’s zero”. Dillon didn’t stop there. He reminisced about what he considered the “best era” of The View, saying:

The best era of The View, and I’ve talked about it before, was when Rosie O’Donnell was talking about building Seven… yeah, that was the best that I watched.

But Joe Rogan and Tim Dillon’s conversation highlights the noticeable absence of a trans woman on its panel.

The View, which first aired in 1997, has long been a stage for the clash of political and social opinions. Created by Barbara Walters, the show has featured prominent hosts like Joy Behar, Meredith Vieira, Star Jones, and, of course, Goldberg, who has been a staple on the panel for over a decade.

While Rogan and Goldberg don’t exactly see eye-to-eye on a lot of things, the tension between their worlds often becomes a source of intrigue for viewers. Just last month, Goldberg pointed out that Rogan had confused the date of Donald Trump’s appearance on The View.

Whoopi Goldberg Speaks Out: ‘I Work For A Living,’ & She’s Not Afraid to Show It

On the occasion of her 69th birthday, Whoopi Goldberg took a moment to remind viewers that no matter her status or accomplishments, she’s not immune to the struggles that so many face. In a candid moment on live TV, she said (via EW):

I appreciate that people are having a hard time. Me, too. I work for a living.

Whoopi Goldberg reminded viewers on The View that, despite her fame, she remains connected to the struggles of everyday working people.

But Goldberg was quick to make an important point: if she had all the money in the world, she wouldn’t show up to moderate The View—or any show for that matter.

If I had all the money in the world, I would not be here, okay? So, I’m a working person, you know?

She even spoke of how her own family relies on her:

My kid has to feed her family. My great-granddaughter has to be fed by her family.

For Goldberg, it’s not just about living luxuriously; it’s about providing for the people she loves.

Moreover, she is more than just a talk show host; she’s a versatile performer who keeps proving her mettle in the entertainment industry. Aside from her hosting duties, Goldberg has remained active in acting, appearing in projects like The Stand, Harlem, and even making a return to Star Trek: Picard

She’s also working on the much-anticipated Sister Act 3 for Disney+.
