I’m a size 14 & found the most flattering dress EVER on TikTok -it’s £12, got a built-in corset & my bum looks great too

IT can be hard finding a dress that flatters the figure from all angles – especially if you’ve got curves.

But one woman claims to have found the perfect option for a size 14 figure, and she took to TikTok to share her rave review.

Woman in a flattering brown dress.
Keelie took to TikTok to rave about a dress she’d bought on the social media site for £12

Keelie couldn’t help but gush about the chocolate brown dress, as she modelled it in a video on her page.

One of the best features of the dress is the fact it’s got a corset-style tie at the back – which you can pull to cinch in the waist.

“Oh my God, girls. I was not ready for this,” Keelie said as she pulled the strings tight.

“This is absolutely incredible!”

She added she hadn’t been “expecting” the impact the dress had, especially as it had cost her just £12 from TikTok Shop.

“I think this might be the most flattering TikTok shop dress that we have ever seen!” she gushed.

“Look at that silhouette!”

Keelie added it was the ruched, draped detail at the front of the dress that had initially sold it to her.

But when it arrived, and she saw the corset tie, she fell in love with it even more.

She’s 5ft 4, a size 14 to 16 and bought the dress in a size large.

Keelie said that the length was “perfect” on her with her bare feet, and explained that the front of the dress is adjustable – so you can alter the length if need be.

“I just think this is the most flattering dress that I have ever found on the TikTok Shop,” she grinned, adding that she’s going to get it in every colour.

“I’m obsessed. I’m absolutely in love with it!” she concluded.

“Snatched to the gods,” Keelie captioned the video.

“Waist cinching dress currently £12!”

And the comments section was almost immediately filled with people admitting they were racing to pick up one of the dresses themselves.

Hake was a part of Erik ten Hag‘s backroom staff at Old Trafford and joined the club last July.

The 53-year-old left his job as Go Ahead Eagles boss to help out his fellow Dutchman.

But he was left unemployed after Ten Hag got the boot following a dismal run of form, with Ruben Amorim taking over.

Hake has never managed a team outside of the Netherlands.

He has previously taken charge of Emmen, Utrecht, and FC Twente.

Accordint to BBC Sport, Hake is now in the running to replace Carlos Corberan at the Hawthorns.

Corberan left the Baggies before the festive period to take over at boyhood club Valencia.

The 41-year-old Spaniard helped lead West Brom to a 9th placed finish last season and had them in playoff contention again.

Albion currently have Chris Brunt, Damia Abella and Boaz Myhill in temporary charge.

The trio are expected to be in the dugout for Saturday’s FA Cup third-round tie at Bournemouth.

West Brom’s next Championship game is at home against Stoke on January 18.

Baggies bosses are keen for the new manager to be in post by then as the club attempt to keep up their top-six push.

Blackburn head coach John Eustace and Swiss manager Raphael Wicky have also been linked.

Under Brunt, Abella, and Myhill, the Baggies have won just one of their last four games.

Brunt said: “Whatever the football club decide to do, I’ll keep preparing as much as I can with Abella and the coaching staff, Boaz [Myhill], sports science, medical.

“It’s been a real team effort and the lads deserve a couple of days off, especially at this time of year.

“They’ll have those, recharge themselves, and we’ve got a really tough cup tie coming up so if we’re still here, we’ll prepare as best we can.

“But first and foremost, I think the boys need a few days off to go and recharge, then we’ll regroup and see what happens.”

We WON’T let Shamima back in UK – no matter how much Trump’s top aide begs, Foreign Sec slams as Labour in row with US

SHAMIMA Begum will NOT be allowed back in Britain, despite calls from Donald Trump’s aide, David Lammy vowed today.

The Foreign Secretary hit back at demands from Trump’s counter-terror chief Sebastian Gorka to deal with the ISIS bride domestically.

Sebastian Gorka declared that any state wishing to be considered a “serious ally” of the US must take back its citizens that joined death-cult ISIS[/caption]

Mr Lammy said: “Shamima Begum will not be coming back to the UK.

“It’s gone right through the courts. She’s not a UK national.

“We will not be bringing her back to the UK. We’re really clear about that.

“We will act in our security interests.

“And many of those in those camps are dangerous, are radicals.”

A row over the Jihadi bride erupted yesterday after Mr Gorka declared that any country wanting to be a “serious ally” of the US must take back its citizens that joined death-cult ISIS and are now languishing in Syrian camps.

He said: “Any nation which wishes to be seen as a serious ally and friend of the most powerful nation in the world should act in a fashion that reflects that serious commitment.

“That is doubly so for the UK, which has a very special place in President Trump’s heart, and we would all wish to see the ‘special relationship’ fully re-established.”

Blasting the call, Mr Lammy declared that the government will “always put British security interests first”.

Begum is believed to be one of 20 women, 40 children and 10 men born in Britain being held in a camp.

The Jihadi sympathiser was 15 when she travelled from her home in Bethnal Green, in East London to ISIS-controlled territory in 2015.

She was “married off” to a bloodthirsty fighter and then stripped of her British citizenship in 2019.

The recent upheaval in Syria and collapse of tyrant Bashar al-Assad’s regime has put the future of camps holding IS-linked prisoners in doubt.

Begum’s lawyer Tasnime Akunjee said her hopes of returning were “bolstered” after the successful revolution.

But a source warned The Sun: “If Shamima is allowed back in it could open the floodgates to 100 others.

“The security services keep tabs on those people in Syrian camps with a claim to UK citizenship.

“They pose a risk and would take a massive amount of resources to watch.”

Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland makes HUGE change in bank branches

LLOYDS Banking Group, owner of subsidaries Halifax and Bank of Scotland is making a huge changes to services across all its bank branches.

The banking giant has announced plans to enable customers to access services at any branch regardless of which brand they bank with.

Bank of Scotland, Lloyds Bank, and Halifax branches.
The banking group currently operates out of 932 branches across the UK

For example, this means that a Lloyds Bank customer will be able to access the same services when visiting Halifax and Bank of Scotland branches, and vice versa.

While Lloyds claims this move will provide customers with “access to the UK’s biggest combined branch network” and greater flexibility, trade unions have expressed concerns that this is a precursor to widespread branch closures and job losses.

This announcement comes as Lloyds, like many other UK banks, is experiencing a significant shift towards digital banking.

Lloyds also stated that increasing its mobile app user base is a key priority, and highlighted the development of updated mobile apps for Halifax and Bank of Scotland.

However, unions have argued that the cross-brand branch access strategy is primarily motivated by cost-cutting and streamlining operations, rather than improving customer experience.

Mark Brown, general secretary of BTU, predicts that this change will enable Lloyds to quickly close approximately 233 branches, resulting in thousands of job losses.

Lloyds Bank disputes these claims, stating that BTU is not a recognised union and therefore lacks the necessary insights into the bank’s operations to make such predictions.

Since June 2022, Lloyds Banking Group has shut 493 bank branches across its three brands.

A further 91 branches are set to close in 2025.

The banking group currently operates out of 932 branches across the UK, according to trade union Accord.

A Lloyds Banking Group spokesperson said: “We’re always looking for ways to make banking easier and more flexible for our customers.

“From later this year, we’ll offer customers of Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland the option to use branches of any brand for their in-person banking, alongside our apps, mobile messaging, and telephone services.”

What’s happening at other banks?

Customers are increasingly turning to online banking to manage their finances while banks and building societies look for ways to cut costs.

Since 2022, UK bank branches have seen widespread closures, with Barclays leading the way with 384, followed by HSBC (180), NatWest (241), and Lloyds Bank (249), according to ATM operator LINK.

Looking ahead to 2025, Halifax has the most planned closures (34), significantly more than Lloyds Bank (43), TSB (8), and Bank of Scotland (14).

Several banks, including HSBC, RBS and Nationwide have no current plans to close further branches in 2025.

What to do if your local bank is set to close

There are still a number of ways people can access basic banking services without having to venture to another town with a branch.

You can use one of the Post Office’s 11,684 branches to perform basic banking tasks — but not to open new bank accounts or take personal loans and mortgages.

You can find your nearest Post Office branch by visiting postoffice.co.uk/branch-finder.

Meanwhile, many banks offer a mobile banking service – where they bring a bus to your area offering services you can usually get at a physical branch.

Other banks use buildings such as village halls or libraries to offer mobile banking services.

It’s worth contacting your bank to see what mobile services they have available, and when they might next be in your area.

New super ATMs are being rolled out across the UK where branch closures have left residents unable to access essential banking services.

These ATMs will allow customers to withdraw funds, access their balance, change PIN numbers and deposit cash.

Bank of Scotland, Barclays, Halifax, Lloyds, NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland and Ulster Bank are already signed up to allow deposits, at the super ATMs.

Banking hubs are also being opened across the UK with 250 set to be available by the end of 2025.

These sites typically feature a counter service operated by the Post Office as standard, enabling customers to conduct routine banking transactions conveniently.

Each hub also has a private area where customers can consult with staff representing their banks for more complex matters.

What services do banking hubs offer?

BANKING hubs offer a range of services to bridge the gap left by the closure of local branches.

Operated by the Post Office, these hubs allow customers to perform routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and balance enquiries.

Each hub also features private booths where customers can discuss more complex banking matters with staff from their respective banks.

Staff from different banks are available on a rotational basis, ensuring that customers have access to a wide range of banking services throughout the week.

Additionally, customers can receive advice and support on various financial products and services, including loans, mortgages, and savings accounts.
