Eight channels have moved number this week[/caption]

Great! Mystery caters to sofa detectives, with some star-studded Hollywood movies on show, such as Drive with Ryan Gosling, The Whistleblower with Rachel Weisz, and Lucky Number Slevin starring Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis, and Josh Hartnett.

Now the broadcaster has announced an overhaul to some channel numbers which viewers must be aware of to avoid missing favourite shows or messing up any scheduled recordings they have.

Freeview routinely switches the TV guide up as channels launch and close.

Channel operators occasionally revamp their channels which can also trigger changes.

This month, there are eight movers to be aware of, on top of Great! Mystery’s arrival.

Firstly, Great! Mystery has launched on channel number 61.

The same company behind Great! Mystery has replaced the Great! Player with Great! TV+1.

As part of this, the channel will now be on 63 instead of 62.

Taking the 62 slot is Great! Romance Mix, which previously occupied number 63.

Elsewhere, TV Warehouse is shifting from 92 to 88.

And TV Warehouse+1 hops from 94 to 92.

Four other channel changes only affect the Manchester area.

That’s Dance MCR will now live at channel number 79.

And That’s TV (UK) MCR can be found at 80.

That’s TV 2 MCR sits at 86, while That’s Christmas MCR is on 87.

Freeview warns users that they “need to retune to update your TV and keep your channels and TV Guide up to date”.
