IT’S usually the Celtic board who get it in the neck on AGM day at Parkhead.
But with everything going swimmingly on and off the field, this year it was Rod Stewart who found himself getting it tight.

The wrinkly rocker makes no secret of his affinity with Celtic – although he’s not always seen eye-to-eye with every Hoops fan.
For instance who could forget the time he gave banned ultras group the Green Brigade the MIDDLE FINGER with a smile as he was booed after getting out of a taxi and making his entry to the ground.
But it wasn’t an excitable young fan having a go this year, it was a PENSIONER.
Stewart, regularly spotted hanging out in the directors’ box at Parkhead, this week announced he was stepping back from major tours.
And this particular Hoops fan reckons it’s high time he puts his money where his mouth is – by INVESTING in the club.
In fact, this pensioner claimed HE had invested more in the club over the years than Stewart had.
Speaking in the Q and A portion of the AGM, the fan said his “bank balance” was expanding because of people wearing Celtic strips who maybe have never been to Parkhead.
He added: “The first game I went to was 1964, I think I’ve contributed more money to Celtic than he has and I’m a pensioner.”
His claim was adroitly sidestepped by Peter Lawwell at the top table, although he couldn’t resist a joke to the effect that Rod isn’t too quick to get his wallet out the club at sidesteps.
Lawwell joked: “I can’t speak for Rod Stewart to be honest but I do know he is tighter than a dead heat!
He added. “No, that is a joke. He does contribute a lot to the foundation and actually donates a lot.
“There is a lot going on behind the scenes. Ii’m not so sure he would be investing into a football club.
“But in terms of his kindness and generosity to the foundation it’s second to none and I thank him for that.”
