RTE star Miriam O’Callaghan has shared some “beautiful” photographs from her recent work trip to the Irish countryside.
The Prime Time host was in Co Leitrim for an election coverage special edition of the show.

Miriam took to her Instagram yesterday to share some scenic snaps from her trip to Carrick-On-Shannon.
The 64-year-old looked happy as ever while she stopped for a quick selfie with her crew, who helped her through the special broadcast.
To beat the cold during the outdoor live segments, Miriam popped on a beautiful bright red jacket and kept toasty with a red knit scarf wrapped around her neck.
The popular presenter shared another selfie, this time taking time for herself as she posed in front of a jaw-droppingly stunning sunset by Lough Owel.
She also shared a plethora of other sunset pictures showing off the picturesque nature of the area.
Miriam captioned her post: “What a beautiful country Ireland is. Majestic sunset this evening over Lough Owel – en route to Carrick-On-Shannon.”
Friends and fans raced to the presenter’s comment section to gush over the scenery.

Last week, Miriam made another cross country trip to receive a huge honour.
She embarked on the drive up to Belfast to receive an Honorary Doctorates at Queen’s University.
The mum-of-six took to her Instagram early in the morning to share a stunning snap with her mum ahead of receiving the honour.
The 64-year-old and her mum looked happy as ever while they grinned wide for the selfie.
Miriam sat in close beside her mum as they were in the car ready to head off on their travels.
For their trip to Belfast, Miriam donned a beautiful black sleeveless top.
Her mum looked elegant as she popped on a vibrant red jacket and a red and black printed scarf.
Miriam captioned her post: “Thelma & Louise off on our travels once again – my amazing 96 year young Mum. Fun day ahead in Belfast.”
