Fearless Ukraine boasts it’ll SHOOT DOWN Vlad’s new missile that he’s used to threaten UK…& say he only has a few anyway

UKRAINE are confident that they will be able to fight off Vladimir Putin’s latest missile that he has threatened to unleash on the UK.

Fearless Ukrainian officials believe Russia only has a few “Oreshnik” hypersonic ballistic missiles left after they attacked Dnipro on Thursday.

Putin claims his new catastrophic toy travels at 10 times the speed of sound and therefore couldn’t be intercepted.

The tyrant warned the West – including his enemies in the UK and the US – that he will use the weapon on them “if necessary”.

But a Ukrainian source close to the General Staff believes Russia only has a limited supply of the experimental missiles, reports RBC-Ukraine.

They say the strike on Thursday morning was an intimidation tactic to show off Vlad’s bad intentions if he is crossed.

Ukraine is still firmly backing themselves to outmanoeuvre and overcome Russia‘s increased aggression.

Their confidence comes from the growing strength and unity between themselves and their Nato allies.

The UK and US allowed Ukraine to use British-made Storm Shadow and US-supplied ATACMS missiles to strike inside Russia this month – angering an already paranoid Putin.

The Kyiv-based source feels that this relationship will help them secure more weapons to counter the Oreshnik.

They added: “Ukraine will initiate negotiations on an attempt to counter such weapons together with partners.

“Either obtaining the appropriate systems capable of shooting them down, or carrying out the modernisation of the Patriot systems.”

Despite the confidence inside Kyiv there are fears that Russia may have up to 10 of these new terrifying ballistic missiles in its arsenal.

Deputy head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Vadym Skibitskyi says Vlad would only begin testing the weapon if he had enough available to strike fear in his foes.

Skibitskyi added that he believes Vlad has stationed nearly 580,000 troops in Russia’s Kursk Oblast as he pummels the region.

Ukraine branded Russia’s strike a major ramping up of the “scale and brutality” of the war by a “crazy neighbour”.

Zelensky said the new hypersonic ballistic missile reached the speed and heights of an ICBM.

ICBMs have a range of over 5,500km and were designed for nuclear war.

They blast into the edge of space and can reach speeds of 13,000mph before hurtling almost down to their targets.

Britain’s defence secretary John Healey said Russia had been planning the strike “for months”.

Nato’s Eastern European members, including Latvia and Estonia, have been anxiously watching Russia’s bloody invasion of Ukraine since it began in 2022.

Finland, which borders Russia to its east, has ramped up national security by publishing advice for citizens to prepare “for incidents and crises”.

Nordic citizens were also told to prepare for war and handed chilling survival guides.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has even spoken about how the conflict is entering an “unknown phase” with deranged Putin hellbent on seizing Ukraine as his own.

Tusk said: “The war in the east is entering a decisive phase, we feel that the unknown is approaching.

“The conflict is taking on dramatic proportions. The last few dozen hours have shown that the threat is serious and real when it comes to global conflict.”

And Germany’s World War Three preparation plans were also revealed in a 1,000-page secret document.

China has reiterated calls for “calm” and restraint by all parties in the war.

It comes as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine dramatically intensified this week.

Kyiv launched US ATACMS missiles against Putin’s territory overnight on Monday – and British Storm Shadow rockets on Wednesday.

Russia’s ambassador to the UK, Andrei Kelin, claimed the use of Storm Shadow missiles against a military site in Russia meant Britain “is now directly involved in this war”.

Moscow has made similar claims in the past over Western support for Ukraine.

On Tuesday, President Putin signed a new nuclear doctrine to lower the threshold for doomsday strikes.

The policy, months in the making, allows Russia unleash a nuclear first strike if it is attacked by a country backed by a nuclear power.

How Ukraine could turn war around in WEEKS using US missiles

EXCLUSIVE by Sayan Bose, Foreign News Reporter, and Georgie English, Foreign News Reporter

After 1,000 days of Vlad’s gruelling war in Ukraine, the conflict has left more than a million soldiers and civilians dead or wounded.

Putin’s forces invaded their neighbouring nation in February 2022 as part of the deluded tyrant’s plan to rebuild the Soviet Union amid his paranoid fears over Nato.

Almost three years later, Kyiv’s battle-weary troops are fighting to the death on multiple fronts.

They have faced several setbacks in the grinding conflict as Russia has made slow but incremental gains over Ukrainian territory.

But the green light from the US that now allows Ukraine to use long-range ATACMS missiles could be a game changer, an expert has said.

Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon told The Sun how Ukraine could turn the war around in six weeks when provided with unwavering support from key allies in the West.

The former British army officer said Washington’s decision to allow Ukraine to use ATACMS is a “significant development”.

He explained: “Since day one Putin and his close aides have been threatening a nuclear strike if we escalate it, and today is the 1,000th day of this conflict, and it hasn’t happened.

“It should embolden our leaders, who must now realise that Putin’s threats are completely hollow.

“With the Russian boxer on the ropes, now is the time that we enable the Ukrainians to absolutely put in the killer punch and be in a really good position for the expected ceasefire.”

He added: “The fact that the Russians have been so vehement in their verbal attacks against the use of Nato missiles shows that this is a significant step.

“It could allow Ukraine to gain a good position in [the next] six weeks which will be important for Zelensky if Trump forces a ceasefire after getting back in office.”

Treat a special someone this Christmas with a homemade beauty gift[/caption]

Follow her ideas below, but remember that essential oils aren’t suitable for under-12s or pregnant women, and people with underlying health conditions should be cautious.

MILK IT: Try Becci’s rose petal and oat bath soak, from her book Craft Your Own Cosy Scandi Christmas.

Whizz 15g dried rose petals and 100g oats in a blender until ground.

Tip into a large bowl and add 125g full-fat milk powder, 100g bicarbonate of soda and 75g cornflour.

Sprinkle over 14 drops of skin-safe essential oils and stir thoroughly, before packing into glass jars.

SCANDI-STYLE SCRUB: To make Becci’s essential oils salts scrub, melt 110g of coconut oil and three tablespoons of sweet almond oil in a small pan and then cool.

Mix 25 drops of skin-safe essential oil (such as five each of pine, bergamot and frankincense and ten of lavender), before adding the melted oils a little at a time and swirling around.

Measure 450g Dead Sea salts into a large bowl, add a tablespoon of dried lavender (optional), then pour in the oil mixture, stirring well.

Tip into a clean 500ml jar and leave in a dark place for a week.

To use, have a small scoop or spoon handy, as the mixture will last months if not contaminated by water.

Add a label warning it shouldn’t be used on faces or delicate areas.

HOMEMADE HAMPERS: If you don’t want to make your own products, personalising a beauty hamper makes a thoughtful gift for a good price.

Split up multibuy deals and make a few hampers for friends.

Include things like soaps, shower gel, lip balms, face masks and hand cream.

Cover with florist cellophane for a show-stopping gift.

Megan Barton-Hanson strips down to black leather lingerie for racy shoot with new love interest

MEGAN Barton-Hanson has stripped down to some racy black leather lingerie for a sizzling photoshoot with her new love interest.

The blonde bombshell, 30, shot to fame in the fourth series of the revived Love Island in 2018, and now she’s flaunting her figure all over social media.

Moving on from her ex-girlfriend Demi Sims, Megan seems to be loved up with Instagram model Leah Ray, with them even seen kissing in public earlier this week.

And now the duo have stripped down to some black leather lingerie to make a plea.

“Why weren’t we asked to be ring girls? Sydney Thomas, I’m coming for your job,” Leah penned alongside the new video of the two lingerie-clad women.

Reacting to the sizzling clip, one person penned, “Yeah, can someone call me an ambulance…. My blood pressure just went like a volcano.”

“You both have a chance to be ring girls because you are both sexy hotties,” added a second.

A third then said, “You are both absolutely stunning and yes you should have been ring girls.”

While a fourth said, “Wow just WOW!!!!”

And a fifth penned, “I don’t think I have seen two more beautiful ring girls in my life.”

SMOOCHING IN THE BACK OF AN UBER

This comes after the pair were spotted in the back of an Uber in Central London, Megan and Leah could be seen getting cosy and even smooching as the rain poured down.

Megan could be seen wearing some camouflage trousers with a pink fluffy jacket, while Leah donned a green minidress.

LOVE ISLAND STINT

When the starlet was on Love Island, she quickly became known for her controversial antics.

The raunchy star even left fans stunned when she hooked up with fellow islander Wes Brown after he was loved up with another blonde beauty.

Wes and Laura Anderson were a couple on the 2018 season of Love Island, with Megan then turning his head and stealing him away.

DEMI SIMS ROMANCE

Megan then moved on with The Only Way Is Essex star Demi Sims.

The two reality stars had a brief romance after meeting while filming the E4 reality show Celebs Go Dating in 2019.

Love Island All Stars 2025 rumours

Love Island All Stars will be back for its second series in 2025 - and rumours are already rife as to who will be making a comeback this time around.

After the second All Stars series was announced in May, show boss Mike Spender said: “Lots of people have been in contact about it, lots of fun people, from series one onwards.

“We cast it because we knew what was going on behind the scenes of who was getting with who and now even more stories have come out.

“I think we will now save ex-islanders for All Stars.”

One rumoured name for the next series is data engineer Harry Baker.

Harry, 25, arrived in the villa as a bombshell in Series 11. He soon ‘stole’ Grace Jackson after making his debut.

Arriving late in the run, he only lasted for a few days before being dumped alongside Lola Deloca.

Despite the hunk’s brief stint, viewers have called for Harry’s return.

One upset fan wrote: “Get you in All Stars next”, to which Harry cryptically replied by posting ‘shrugging’ emojis.

The couple then split and got back together, with their relationship remaining relatively rocky over the last few years.

Then, in the summer, Megan and Demi were snapped arriving at London’s Sushi Samba in July, leading many to believe their on/off romance had started up again.

But it seems that Megan is now moving on with her new rumoured love interest, Leah.

‘It’s heartbreaking’ – 3 key questions in disappearance of restaurant worker who ‘just stopped coming home’ 32 years ago

GARDAI have issued a new appeal for a missing restaurant worker who “stopped coming home” 32 years ago.

Patrick (Patsy) O’Sullivan was last in contact with his family in Lombardstown, Co Cork in April 1992.

Patsy was last seen by his family at Easter in 1992

At the time of his disappearance, Patsy was 35 years old.

Patsy is described as being five foot 10 in height, of a slim build with fair to brown hair, green eyes and would now be 67-years-old.

Gardai and Patsy’s family have issued a new appeal on RTE’s Crimecall in hopes of locating him.

Patsy’s disappearance remains a mystery and many questions have been raised in the 32 years since.

WHEN WAS PATSY LAST SEEN?

The exact moment of when Patsy was last seen remains unclear.

The last known contact he had with his family was some time in April of 1992 in his hometown of Lombardstown.

According to Gardai, he was known to often go away for work, often for weeks at a time.

At times, this brought him to various locations.

Despite constantly being on the go, Patsy would maintain contact with his family and return periodically.

At the time of his disappearance, Patsy had been working in Kerry and went to visit his family home on the weekend of the Easter Bank Holiday. Easter Sunday fell on April 19 this year.

Patsy had been due to return home again for a Christening only a few weeks later but never showed.

There have been no reported sightings of Patsy since.

HOW HAS THE CASE EVOLVED?

When Patsy failed to return home to Cork for the Christening, and no contact was made with family, they began their search.

Patsy had been living in the Killarney area of Kerry and worked in restaurants and kitchens.

This led him to often travel throughout the county, but once he hadn’t been in contact for an unusual amount of time, the family began searching the area, as well as Cork and Waterford.

Since 2015, Garda PJ Roche has been covering Patsy’s case.

Despite various checks with all of the regular government bodies in the case, there has been no sign of him since.

All DNA database checks and requests for help from Interpol have also all come back with nothing in the search for Patsy.

The family are now making a renewed appeal to the public in hopes someone has encountered him over the last 32 years.

Garda Roche said: “It’s 32 years now since Patsy went missing.

“We’re hoping that anyone who might have known or worked with Patsy at the time, might have any information that might help in this investigation.”

HOW HAVE THE FAMILY DEALT WITH THIS?

Patsy’s family has been left devastated by their brother’s disappearance.

Patsy was the middle child of seven siblings, with his two brothers speaking to RTE about the pain they have been left with since.

His brother Jerry simply put it: “He just stopped coming home.”

Jerry also recalled his brother having a “heart of gold”, while other brother Eugene said he always “enjoyed his life to the full.”

Recounting the family’s pain, Eugene says it is “not hearing from him for that amount of time…it’s just heartbreaking.”

Anyone with information on Patsy’s whereabouts is asked to contact Gardaí in Mallow on 022 314 50 the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
