A WOMAN has left people horrified after revealing the very unique way her husband cleans the bathroom.
She explained that he had been in jail for 20 years, and had picked up the odd way of getting things ‘clean’ while behind bars.
Mireya took to TikTok to share a video of her husband’s very unique way of cleaning the bathroom[/caption]
In a video on her TikTok page, Mireya showed her other half wearing shorts and sandals as he got to work in the bathroom.
But instead of using the tap water and a cleaning spray to spruce up the room, he dunked the cloth into the toilet.
He took it in and out of the toilet water, and squeezed it out before he started using it to clean the floor and all around the loo.
Once he’d finished that section, he dunked the cloth in the toilet water again, before moving onto the next.
In the video shared to ‘Prison Tok’, Mireya wrote over the top: “When your husband spent 20 years in prison and this is how he cleans”.
She also added some crying laughing emojis – but lots of people in the comments section weren’t laughing.
“Not the toilet water!!! O I would have a heart attack lol,” one person commented.
“A whole heart attack,” another added.
“Girl me too I just cringed when I seen this – that is a BIG NO for me,” a third insisted.
“At this point u just put germs all on my damn floor,” someone else raged.
“Toilet is never clean enough to use as a cleaner,” another added.
“Your not in prison anymore ! NOOOOO,” someone else shouted.
As another wrote: “I would have an anxiety attack!”
But others defended the unique situation.
With one writing: “In prison you sanitise the toilet with chemicals after every use. I bet that toilet is super clean”.
“Why? It’s the same water that comes out of your sink,” another argued.
The household items you’re not cleaning often enough

Underneath and Behind Appliances: Vacuum or sweep regularly. Mop with a suitable cleaner.

“Keep your toilet clean and you have no issues!”
“Yeah it does look disgusting if you never had to do it before,” a third admitted.
“I STILL DO IT LIKE THAT,” someone else said.
“My son is in prison and he says he uses his old tshirts to clean. He’s a clean freak,” another wrote.

AN IRISH airport have issued a major alert as snow and ice teams plan for the forecasted drop in temperatures.
Cork Airport is on high alert for the winter weather expected this week.
Cork Airport said they will ensure passengers have smooth flights this week[/caption]
As temperatures are set to drop in the coming days, Cork Airport has its snow and ice team fully prepared for any disruptions.
The airport’s snow and ice team is equipped with a range of specialised tools to keep surfaces clear, ensuring flights operate smoothly and safely.
This includes treating key areas like the terminal forecourt, car parks, footpaths, and runways – which will all be worked on around the clock by the asset care team.
Cork Airport Fire Service will also monitor critical areas like taxiways and runways by patrolling them frequently to ensure safe conditions for passengers.
As temperatures drop, the operations team has been in close communication with airlines flying in to the airport and ground handlers.
This will ensure they are ready to handle aircraft de-icing needs as snow is expected to hit the country this week.
Passenger safety is a major priority, and they are now being advised to take extra care when heading to the airport.
Managing Director at Cork Airport, Niall MacCarthy, said the airport is committed to ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for passengers, even in challenging weather conditions.
He said: “Airport activities change in the seasons and whereas in summer, our maintenance colleagues must focus on areas like grass management and campus improvements, over the winter, the focus turns to operational readiness for snow and ice events.
“We have a great maintenance team supported by a substantial fleet of specialist equipment and our maintenance colleagues, led by Eamon O’Donovan, Jonathan Murphy working alongside our airport engineer, Brian Culloty, will do their utmost to ensure everyone gets away and home safely as we enter the busy Christmas season.
“Cork Airport is Ireland’s fastest growing airport, and we will do our utmost to improve and maintain our standards of customer service to accompany that strong growth.”
With 2024 shaping up to be a record year, Cork Airport is set to welcome 3.1 million passengers, maintaining strong growth into the busy Christmas season.
This comes after Dublin Airport has issued a major Christmas warning to passengers ahead of the festive season.
Major Christmas warning
The airport is on track to surpass 32 million passengers in December 2024 – with parking spots set to fill up fast.
So far this year, Dublin Airport has already handled 28.7million passengers, with a five per cent increase compared to 2023.
Despite this growth, a passenger cap has become a major issue – with Dublin Airport needing to limit its capacity to comply with regulations.
In October, the airport welcomed a record 2.9 million passengers, making it the busiest October in the airport’s 84-year history.
October’s peak day saw 114,000 passengers, although a significant number of these were rebooked after Storm Ashley caused disruptions.
Passenger numbers are expected to exceed 32 million by December, with forecasts predicting a final count closer to 33 million for the year.
The airport is now working on plans to increase capacity, including a proposal to raise the cap to 40 million passengers and an operational plan to reach 36 million without new infrastructure.

But what was an embarrassing moment could be about to earn Tyson the big bucks.
Porn website CamSoda have offered the former world heavyweight champion £200,000 to show his cheeks on camera one more time.
A spokesperson from the adult site has penned an offer letter to the boxing legend to try and convince him to get in front of the camera.
CamSoda Vice President Daryn Parker said: “Now, I understand this offer may be a far cry from what you just raked in from the fight, but let’s face it — maybe it’s time to hang up the gloves.
“I think this offer is the perfect way to still get in front of people and perform in a different, less strenuous way.
“Plus, you don’t have to worry about anyone biting or going after your ears.”

A TRAGIC 14-year-old girl was found dead in her bedroom after being targeted in a cyber-bullying campaign, an inquest heard.
Megan Evans was told to “kill herself” by vile trolls on social media before she was discovered by her brother.
Megan was found dead by her brother at home[/caption]
One of the groups was called “I hate Megan Evans” – with more found by mum Nicola on Snapchat and Facebook following the teen’s death.
But Nicola told the inquest that when her friends were asked if Megan was being bullied at the time, “all of them said no”.
The mum-of-eight also said her daughter was having “outbursts” in class leading up to her death in 2017.
Nicola told the court this was “completely out of character” for Megan who was “such a studious and well-behaved girl.”
She added: “They knew her behaviour was out of character, it was getting worse, she was verbally abusive to staff.
“They must have known that something was wrong.”
Nicola said the school would contact her almost daily about Megan’s incorrect uniform but never told her about the bad behaviour.
The inquest heard on the day of Megan’s death on February 7, 2017, she had attended a meeting at school about a trip to France.
The talented artist and hockey player had also been looking forward to attending an upcoming Justin Bieber concert.
Megan appeared in good spirits when her mum and dad popped out later that night with her four younger siblings.
At around 10pm, the schoolgirl’s brother called his parents to tell them he couldn’t find Megan anywhere.
He tragically discovered his sister dead in a locked upstairs bedroom after searching the house.
The court was told Megan may have been upset by an argument with another pupil and was concerned for her dad’s health.
Malcolm Duthie, representing the education authority at Pembrokeshire Council, said it would be hard to get evidence of bullying as most of it allegedly took place on Snapchat where messages vanish.
Nicola has worked to raise awareness of mental health and the dangers of social media bullying following Megan’s death.
She launched the Megan’s Starr Foundation, which provides free counselling and support to young people in Pembrokeshire.
In a statement, the teen’s family described Megan as an intelligent, kind, and vibrant teenager.
They added: “She had a big heart and would do anything to help anyone,” the family statement read.
“She brought love and laughter into our home and was always full of energy. Her friends adored her, and she always stood up for what she believed in.”
The inquest continues.
