MAURA Higgins has sparked further confusion over her dating status by claiming she’s ‘very much single’.
The former Love Island finalist will soon be entering I’m A Celebrity as a late arrival.

However, when about dating Pete, Maura insisted to The Sun: “I’m not, I’m not. Where have you heard that?
“I mean, I date, but I’m very much single.
“And honestly, I just think the interest in my dating life is so boring.
“Everyone goes on dates, but then you’re like… Maura’s in a relationship with this person, this person.”
When queried if she has been on a date with Pete, she laughed: “I mean, I’ve been on a date with many people.”
The ex-Towie hunk seems to have found himself in a love triangle with Maura and Strictly dance partner Jowita Przystal.
According to The Mail, Pete “can’t decide” between Jowita and rumoured girlfriend Maura.
A source told the publication: “He is still playing with both girls’ affections.
“It’s typical Pete, he can’t decide and can’t commit.”
Although Pete and Jowita sparked their own romance rumours – a source told The Sun the pair are “definitely not” dating and Pete is dating Maura.
The source said: “He’s with Maura – they spend every spare moment they can together when he’s not rehearsing.
“They’ve been keeping things under wraps as it was great for Strictly – everyone loves a romance don’t they, and Pete and Jowita kept everyone guessing.
“But sadly for Strictly fans this is very much a showmance and Pete only has eyes for Maura.”
I'm A Celebrity 2024
As the hit ITV show enters into its 24th series, a brand new batch of famous faces look set to enter the Aussie jungle once again to face terrifying Bushtucker Trials and living amongst the critters in camp in order to come out on top and be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle. The Sun's Jake Penkethman takes a look at the stars heading Down Under this year...
Back in 2019, the Irish star found fame after appearing on Love Island.
She arrived as a bombshell on the ITV2 dating show.
Maura then instantly ruffled feathers – and received hundreds of Ofcom complaints after straddling and trying to kiss boxer Tommy Fury.
At that point, Tommy was partnered up with influencer – and now ex-partner – Molly-Mae Hague.

MCDONALD’s will shake up its menu today with new festive items, including a “dreamy” sweet treat – but it will also axe a popular favourite.
The 12 products will be available from 11am as part of the fast food chain’s adapted Christmas menu.
The Cheesy McCrispy is the second of McDonald’s brand-new additions[/caption] Sun reporter Sam Walker taste-tested the new menu[/caption]They include a brand-new Terry’s Chocolate Orange pie – a rich ganache made out of the iconic festive chocolate, encased in a crispy chocolate pastry.
The sweet treat will be available for £1.99.
A previous version was a hit with customers, with one taking to X, saying: “That was dreamy.”
Sam Walker, a consumer reporter for The Sun, raved about the new pie in an exciting taste test of the fast food chain’s Christmas menu before its release.
Upon trying the snack, he said: “Really love warm chocolate ganache and then juxtaposed with the crispiness of the coating. That’s really nice that.”
He rated it 4 out of 5, even adding that it actually “beat the original”.
The second brand-new addition is the Cheesy McCrispy – which will cost £5.99 or £7.79 as part of a meal.
This is a twist on the classic McCrispy, with additional condiments like crispy onions, cheese slices and a pink pickled onion chutney.
Sam rated this a respectable 3 out of 5, saying the “gourmet uplift” just had a little too much going on.
As well as these two new items, there are also several returning Christmas classics.
These include the iconic Big Tasty, last being seen in March, for £7.59 – or £8.39 with bacon.
It consists of a beef patty with Emmental cheese, onions, juicy tomatoes and smoky flavoured sauce in a toasted bun.
The Cheese Melt Dippers with tomato sauce are also back after they were temporarily dropped from menus at the start of 2024.
They come in a standard and sharing size, at £2.49 and £6.79 respectively, combining festive Camembert cheese with a tomato dip.

How do I find my nearest McDonald’s?
If you’re planning on taking a trip to McDonald’s, you’ll want to know where your nearest branch is.
The chain has a restaurant locator tool on its website you can use to find your nearest one – and check what time it opens.
Bear in mind that McDonald’s serves breakfast every day until 11am.
After that, the menu switches to the normal menu serving meals such as burgers, chicken nuggets and more.
In other news, McDonald’s has launched its Christmas ad, which some viewers have branded better than John Lewis’.
Plus, the fast food chain is launching a new Gift Drop game on Wednesday, and players can win free merch and food.
Meanwhile, a fan favourite item is not returning to menus this Christmas for a second year running.
