Former world champion who KO’d Lennox Lewis, 59, sends 54-year-old opponent crashing to canvas in brutal stoppage
FORMER heavyweight world champion Oliver McCall won a shock comeback fight aged 59.
McCall famously knocked out Lennox Lewis in 1994 but lost the rematch three years later.

And he beat 54-year-old opponent Stacy Frazier in the second round after a fairly laboured combination of punches.
It meant McCall became the oldest former heavyweight champion to win a professional boxing match.
And it came just days after Mike Tyson controversially fought YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
Tyson, 58, was beaten over eight rounds by Paul, 27, in what was his first pro bout for almost 20 YEARS.
And worryingly, the rusty Iron Mike refused to retire afterwards.
The fight was a commercial success with over 72,000 packing into the AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
A huge £14.2MILLION was made in ticket sales alone while 108m viewers tuned in on Netflix to watch.

It makes it the most-viewed boxing match since Muhammad Ali’s era.
Paul named Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez, 34, as a potential next opponent after improving to 11-1.
Meanwhile heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois, 27, and undisputed light-heavyweight king Artur Beterbiev, 39, have also called out Paul.
Hit Channel 4 show returns next month – a year after it was axed and left viewers devastated
ONE of Channel 4’s most popular festive shows is returning to screens a year after the broadcaster pulled the plug on it.
Viewers were left floored last year when it emerged that the popular programme had been dumped by channel bosses but it has now been revived ready for the 2024 series.
Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas is back for a brand new series[/caption] It comes a year after the show was given the boot by bosses[/caption]Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas fronted by Location Location Location star Kirstie Allsopp will be back for a brand new batch of episodes after being away from the screens last year.
The TV presenter will be using her crafting expertise to show fans at home how to create the perfect Christmas decorations at home – no matter how big or small you wish to go.
As well as that, the star will be welcoming a stream of budding crafters to compete against one another in a variety of Christmas-themed challenges.
Earlier this year, the star and her team put out a call to crafting hopefuls who may wish to appear on the series.
Some of the categories that were listed and therefore are likely to end up on this year’s series include Best Tree Decorating, Best Handmade Wreath, Best Christmas Stocking and Best Handmade Toy.
The show will finally return to screens just in time for Christmas on Monday 9th December at 5:30pm.
News of the show’s return will come as a surprise to fans after it was binned off last year as a result of budget cuts at Channel 4.
Kirstie told Deadline at the time: “I know it’s not personal. We all take a hit on different things at different points in time.
“Hopefully, the ad market will improve and we’ll be back again.”
The show first debuted in 2014 with this year marking 10 years of the popular programme.
Host Kirstie was also left saddened when she revealed last year that the show’s axing had resulted in 30 people losing their jobs.
She said: “I am very upset for anybody — not just my colleagues, not just the lovely people that I work with — but anybody in the industry who is struggling for work. I know there are quite a few.”
