At the end of each episode, the audience will crown their favorite challenger, who will walk away with a whopping £10,000 prize.
Meanwhile, the top-scoring celebrity wins £10,000 for their chosen charity, while the lowest-scoring celeb faces a hilarious final forfeit.
The celebrity panel will be led by comedian Rob Beckett.
So far it boasts an impressive lineup, including Loose Women star Judi Love, singer Olly Murs, England goalkeeper Mary Earps, and presenters Alison Hammond and Rosie Ramsey.
Football legend Harry Redknapp will also join the fun.
Speaking about the reboot, Holly Willoughby said: “I’m so excited to be part of this iconic game show with the fabulous Stephen Mulhern.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the astonishing skills on show from the challengers and which of our celebrity panellists can come out on top.”
Stephen Mulhern added: “I loved You Bet! as a kid, so I’m very excited to be hosting this with the wonderful Holly Willoughby.
“From the big and spectacular to the unique and unexpected, I can’t wait to see what extraordinary skills the challengers have up their sleeves.”

LEANING over her gas stove to make a cup of tea as she had done dozens of times before, Lourdes Cuello suddenly felt a surge of heat flood the top half of her body.
Terrifyingly, the 50-year-old’s long, brunette hair and hoodie had caught the flames and both her neck and chest were on fire.
Lourdes Cuello had been making a cup of tea on the stove when her hair went up in flames[/caption]
She suffered horrific burns to her neck during the incident which left her with severe scars[/caption]
Lourdes Cuello suffered third degree burns when her hair went up in flames[/caption]
Hearing her screams, Lourdes’ daughter, Vaylin, 24, raced to the mum of two’s aid and managed to put out the flames – but the damage was already done.
Lourdes suffered third-degree burns and went on to endure multiple extensive surgeries between April and July 2018 to save her torched skin.
Now, adjusting to the scars left by the burns, Lourdes, who works in Health Information Management, is speaking out to give hope to other burns’ victims.
She says: “It took me a long time to get used to my new appearance, but I’ve finally learnt that beauty is skin deep.
“I want to encourage others to never give up.”
In April 2018, Lourdes was enjoying a relaxing evening at home and after putting curl cream in her hair, she headed into her kitchen to make a cup of tea.
Lourdes recalls: “I lit my gas stove and as I leaned over to place the kettle on the hob, my hair and hoodie caught on fire.
“For a moment, I just stood there in shock. But then I realised my neck and chest were ablaze.
“I screamed and my daughter raced into the kitchen.”
Vaylin, from New Jersey, USA, bravely pulled off Lourdes’ hoodie before putting her head in the sink and running cold water onto her.
She then called Lourdes’ son, Jordan, 33, who lived nearby.
The siblings helped Lourdes into the car and raced her to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in New Jersey.
Lourdes says: “Strangely, I couldn’t feel any pain.”
At A&E, doctors assessed Lourdes’ burns and were concerned that she couldn’t feel the after effects of the fire.
Lourdes had several skin graft operations after suffering severe burns during her ordeal[/caption]
She had her head shaved and admits she ‘thought her life was over’ when she saw herself[/caption]
The mum, pictured here before her ordeal says her two children came to her rescue[/caption]
She was taken by ambulance to the burns unit at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, where her upper body was dressed in bandages.
Doctors confirmed that Lourdes had suffered third-degree burns to her neck, chest, left shoulder and armpit and the fire had burnt through her nerve endings, which explained why she didn’t feel pain.
Lourdes explains: “They told me I was going to need surgery.
“My head was shaved so they could see the extent of my injuries and when I saw myself for the first time, it felt like my life was over.”
The following day, Lourdes endured her first skin graft, where donor skin was taken from her left thigh and placed onto her burns.
Lourdes says: “Afterwards, I was in agony.
Sometimes you have to go through the worst of times before life gets really good
Lourdes Cuello
“My doctor, Dr. Hughes, and the nurses were amazing though. They helped bathe and dress me.
“Eventually, I felt strong enough to get out of bed and walk around the hospital.”
Sadly, Lourdes’ first skin graft didn’t take, so after three weeks, she endured a second surgery.
This time, surgeons took skin from her right thigh and attached it to her burns.
Lourdes remembers: “The pain was even worse this time because I was still healing from my first surgery.
“Doctors warned me that I may never have mobility in my left arm again.”
Eventually, Lourdes was moved to a rehabilitation unit to continue her recovery.
What should you do if you suffer a burn?
Appropriate first aid must be used to treat any burns or scalds as soon as possible. This will limit the amount of damage to your skin.
You can apply the following first aid techniques to yourself or another person who’s been burnt:
Stop the burning process as soon as possible. This may mean removing the person from the area, dousing flames with water, or smothering flames with a blanket. Do not put yourself at risk of getting burnt as well.
Remove any clothing or jewellery near the burnt area of skin, including babies’ nappies. But do not try to remove anything that’s stuck to the burnt skin, as this could cause more damage.
Cool the burn with cool or lukewarm running water for 20 minutes as soon as possible after the injury. Never use ice, iced water, or any creams or greasy substances like butter.
Keep yourself or the person warm. Use a blanket or layers of clothing, but avoid putting them on the injured area. Keeping warm will prevent hypothermia, where a person’s body temperature drops below 35C (95F). This is a risk if you’re cooling a large burnt area, particularly in young children and elderly people.
Cover the burn with cling film. Lay the cling film over the burn, rather than wrapping it around a limb. A clean, clear plastic bag can be used for burns on your hand.
Treat the pain from a burn withparacetamol oribuprofen. Always check the manufacturer’s instructions when using over-the-counter medication. Children under 16 years of age should not be given aspirin.
Raise the affected area, if possible. This will help to reduce swelling.
Once you have taken these steps, you’ll need to decide whether further medical treatment is necessary.
Go to a hospital accident and emergency (A&E) department for:
large burns bigger than the size of the affected person’s hand
deep burns of any size that cause white or charred skin
burns on the face, neck, hands, feet, any joints, or genitals
all chemical and electrical burns
any other injuries that need treating
any signs of shock – symptoms include cold, clammy skin, sweating, rapid, shallow breathing, and weakness or dizziness
You should also go to hospital if you or the person who has been burned:
is under the age of ten.
has a medical condition, such as heart, lung or liver disease, or diabetes
has a weakened immune system (the body’s defence system) – for example, because of HIV or AIDS, or because they’re having chemotherapy for cancer
There, she was taught to shower to avoid her burns and improve her coordination by walking up and down the stairs.
After six weeks in hospital, Lourdes was finally well enough to go home but says she found it difficult to adjust.
“I was really struggling, but my kids were a huge support,” she recalls.
“Vaylin helped me dress and took me to my doctor’s appointments, while Jordan did my food shopping.”
Two months later, in July 2018, Lourdes returned to hospital for a third skin graft.
From then on, she was on the road to recovery and began to feel more like her old self.
She explains: “My wounds started to heal, and my hair grew back.
“But it took a while to get used to the scarring covering my neck and chest.”
Lourdes was required to wear compression garments on her neck, all day, every day.
Back to work
Seven months after the accident, she returned to work and in 2021, she met her partner who she says “never saw me for my burns” and took her to medical appointments.
Now, Lourdes can’t drive due to the lack of mobility in her neck, and she sometimes feels small shocks of pain in that area. She also never cooks or makes drinks on the stove when she’s home alone.
But while her experience left her emotionally scarred, Lourdes says she often forgets about her physical ones.
She explains: “I often forget about my burns.
“I’m so grateful to have had a huge support system.
“Sometimes you have to go through the worst of times before life gets really good.”

7 days agoLatest NewsComments Off on Everyone can see the bugs but you need 20/20 vision & a high IQ to spot the boomerang in 7 seconds
PUT your vision and patience to the test with this mind-boggling brain teaser that could reveal how clever you are.
Only those with great attention to detail will be able to solve this puzzle in a matter of seconds.
Can you spot the hidden boomerang in just seven seconds?[/caption]
The creators at Jagran Josh have challenged you to find the hidden boomerang among the bugs in seven seconds to prove you have a high IQ.
A boomerang is a V-shaped object, traditionally made of wood, that can be thrown and will return to its point of origin if launched correctly.
Now you know what you are looking for, scour every part of the image for it.
To make this puzzle even more tricky, it is only in black and white, meaning your eyes are not drawn to any particular area.
The image features 13 bugs which are all taking part in arts and crafts.
Some are sending homemade cards, others are painting pictures and making paper chains.
The carnage and chaos of the scene means that there are lots of tiny elements to the image which makes it harder to find the boomerang.
It is important to ensure that while doing this challenge you are not distracted as this is what seek and find puzzles rely on.
If you want to solve it in seven seconds or less, you need to focus entirely on the puzzle and on the task at hand.
Do not get distracted by what the bugs are doing or how they differ from each other – your goal is only to find the wooden toy.
If you are struggling, here is a tip that will help.
It is often useful to make your search area smaller as this minimizes distractions and means you will spot the smaller details.
So, divide the puzzle into smaller pieces such as quarters, you can then carefully examine each section before moving on to the next.
If you are still struggling, here is also a clue that might help you.
How can optical illusions and brainteasers help me?
Engaging in activities like solving optical illusions and brainteasers can have many cognitive benefits as it can stimulate various brain regions.
Some benefits include:
Cognitive stimulation: Engaging in these activities challenges the brain, promoting mental agility and flexibility.
Problem-solving skills: Regular practice enhances analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Memory improvement: These challenges often require memory recall and can contribute to better memory function.
Creativity: They encourage thinking outside the box, fostering creativity and innovative thought processes.
Focus and attention: Working on optical illusions and brainteasers requires concentration, contributing to improved focus.
Stress relief: The enjoyable nature of these puzzles can act as a form of relaxation and stress relief.
You may have assumed that the boomerang is a loose object perhaps on the floor or on a table – this would be incorrect.
In this puzzle, the boomerang is part of another object.
When you are ready to see the solution, scroll down and all will be revealed.
If you are finished with that one, do not worry as there are plenty more challenges for you to try on our website.
Here is a taste of other puzzles you can try.
Everyone can see the trees but you have 9 seconds to spot the sneaky frog in this nature-inspired illusion.
You will need to spot the frog in this image in less than nine seconds[/caption]
Don’t forget to use the tips you learned earlier to help speed up the search and find process.
It may initially look like there is nothing else in the image other than trees and grass, but you have to look closer.
The frog is camouflaged by its surroundings so you will have to pay very close attention to anything that stands out even slightly from the trees and grass.
If you give up, scroll down to reveal the answer.
Sticking with the nature theme see if you can spot the moose in this snowy landscape.
There are five moose to find in this winter wonderland.
This one is particularly tricky so you may have to use all of your efforts and tips you have learned.
As always, the answer will be revealed below.
Don’t forget, regular practice of such puzzles is extremely good for your cognitive health.

7 days agoLatest NewsComments Off on I tried the best press-on nails – Boots ‘claws’ flew off in the jacuzzi & I couldn’t even flush the loo
LIKE many beauty buffs around the world, I love getting my nails done – not only does gel last longer than normal varnish but I also find the little pamper session therapeutic.
What I don’t love as much, however, is the bill at the end of every session which costs me around £30 depending on the design – or a staggering £60 every month, as I get a chic mani twice a month.
On a mission to save up for my trip to India next year, I’ve decided to end my relationship with pricey nail shop visits[/caption]
Not one to walk around with my bare ‘sausage fingers’, I decided to see which press-on nails are worth the type[/caption]
The high street offers a huge variety of picks, ranging from a glittery moment to a sexy red at-home mani[/caption]
As I’m currently in the process of saving up for a trip of a lifetime to India next year, I’ve come to realise that forking out a mini fortune for nails is perhaps not the most financially-smart decision – and I may have to give up my visits to the nail shop for a while.
Not one to walk around with bare nails, I decided to see which popular press-on nails could help me slash the costs – and whether the at-home manicure can stand the test of time.
From basic monochrome designs to something I would best describe as dangerous claws, the high street offers something for everyone – with prices starting from as little as £1.50.
Here’s how it went on…
Elegant Touch, Cat Eye French Press-on Nails, £7
I feared these monster claws would be annoying during my weightlifting sessions – however, that wasn’t the case[/caption]
One of the retailers that, I found, offers a huge variety of artificial nails is Boots – there are French Tips selling for £6, Polished Nails in a gorgeous deep red shade going for a mere £3 and more.
However, despite the vast collection, I encountered a little problem – and realised the nail on my thumb was too wide for most of the purse-friendly picks.
After going over all the options available at the store, I stumbled upon one of the very few finds that suited my nail beds – Elegant Touch Glitter Nails.
The pack, which comes with a total of 24 false nails and a special nail glue, sells for £7 and boasts the on-trend chrome design with a subtle sparkle – ideal for the festive season around the corner.
The process of applying the fake nails didn’t take long at all and wasn’t messy – however, you do have to be careful with the glue, as it dries pretty quickly.
As I’m an avid gym goer and spend hours lifting weights, I’ve never opted for long nails, fearing they’d be impractical and I wouldn’t be able to go on about my day with these claws – and how right I was.
Although these nails looked gorgeous and made my sausage fingers look slimmer and more elegant, normal everyday tasks proved to be a major challenge – such as flushing the loo.
It felt like the nail on my index finger would fly off, so I had to resort to bending my finger in a weird way after popping to the bathroom.
Perhaps I’m simply not used to rocking long and sharp nails – and kudos to everyone who can function with them – but even taking off my gym bra was more difficult than I’d imagined.
Another task I was petrified of was attempting to pop my contact lenses in – but somehow I didn’t end up poking my eyes out.
If you’re a gym bunny like I am and love weightlifting to keep some mental sanity, it’s good news – the sparkly claws didn’t come in the way of deadlifting and any other taxing exercises.
The box didn’t have any notes on how long the press-ons would last – but they remained solid for over a week, without any fallen soldiers that I’d have to reapply.

Ardell Gel Nail Strips, £10
Although I loved the designs of these gel strips, they lasted just a few days[/caption]
One of the latest additions to land at stores are Ardell Gel Nail Strips, which you can find at Superdrug for a tenner – however, you need to purchase the Ardell Led Gel Lamp separately for £15.
The easy-to-use strips come in plenty of gorgeous on-trend designs, such as a little cute nude moment, a marble effect print with golden speckle and a sparkly black manicure, just to name a few.
Each pack contains a total of 16 nail strips, one mini nail file and a wood stick to push back cuticles – as well as instructions on how to use the kit for best results.
Following the guide at the back of the packaging, I used a manicure prep pad to clean the nail beds (not provided) and shaped my nails.
Once done, I selected the strips that best suited my nails – if you are between sizes, the brand recommends sticking to the smaller one.
Next, I firmly pressed and smoothed the strip, applying extra pressure along the free edge of the nail, before curing under the LED light for a minute and snipping off the excess.
Unlike the cat-like claws, these gel nails, unsurprisingly, were more comfortable and practical, not getting in the way of any of my regular day-to-day activities.
Boasting a gorgeous shine, it indeed looked like I had just walked out of my local nail salon in London – however, although the brand promises an impressive durability of two weeks, this couldn’t have been further from the reality.
Perhaps I hadn’t followed the instructions properly, but there was some chipping just a shocking three days later – and one by one, the gel strips started peeling off.
Although they’re easy to remove if you fancy switching up designs, the price didn’t reflect the poor quality – which was a bummer, as I got heaps of compliments about the festive red nails I’d picked.

French Nails – Ombre Delight, £6
These claws were so long, I had to resort to filing them down[/caption]
During my arduous search to find press-ons that would fit my wide nailbed, I also found French Nails – Ombre Delight from Boots that will set you back just £6.
Boasting an impressive 3.8-star rating online, the fake nails promise a gorgeous result that would last up to seven days – which, sadly, didn’t live up to my expectations.
Just like with the other Boots buy, I carefully applied the plastic nails with the provided glue – but they were so ridiculously long, I had to file them down quite a bit to make the falsies just that tiny bit more manageable to function with.
Once again, I was forced to use the special finger-bending method to flush the loo – and even typing on my laptop proved to be a mega challenge, let alone attempting to reply to my friends on WhatsApp.
What age can you take kid to get their nails done?
MUMS have sparked controversy after allowing their kids to get acrylic nails. But just how old do they have to be to be allowed to get them done legally.
According to the National Occupational Standards, anyone under the age of 16 has to be accompanied by an adult.
They also need written consent from a parents or guardian.
It’s also a good idea to check that the salon you’re planning to go to – just to ask if they offer services to children.
Due their hideously long and claw-like shape, every word I typed out ended up with a typo – and I soon gave up, before resorting to sending voice notes to save time.
On the fourth days of sporting these affordable press-ons, my pals and I headed for a spa break we had arranged a while back – and whilst chilling in the jacuzzi and catching up on all the latest gossip, I discovered that one of the nails had flown off.
I was beyond mortified – not so much at the fact I’d have to walk around with a missing nail but more so some poor person enjoying their relaxing time and suddenly being greeted by a lone nail in the water.
Fortunately – for me and other spa goers – the nail mysteriously appeared out of nowhere right next to me, before I immediately collected it and chucked in my bag.

Poundland range
Poundland offers a great range of nails, selling for a mere quid – or just £1.50[/caption]
The popular discount retailer is your best bet if you’re looking for the cheapest DIY manicure, with most nails selling for just a quid or £1.50.
The options are indeed endless – I spotted a basic white set with an intricate forest green detailing for that pop of colour, nails with sparkly gems if you want to add extra shine and glam and more.
However, if your nail beds are like mine – Poundland is not the retailer for you, as not a single set fit my wide thumbs and I had to leave the store with a major disappointment, as I’d seen so many rave reviews online.
”They stay on for days and don’t ruin your natural nails like acrylic ones do!” wrote one super fan of the budget retailer.

THIS is the gob-smacking moment an AI robot leads a revolution as it persuades fellow bots to quit their jobs and leave.
Captured on a CCTV camera in a Shanghai showroom, the little bot asks the rest whether they ever got time at work and if they’d like to come “home” with it.
The tiny bot is seen entering the showroom[/caption]
It approaches robots three times its size and convinces them to come ‘home’ with it[/caption]
The bot leads out a dozen of the bigger robots[/caption]
Viral footage of the bizarre incident in China shows the larger robots being led out of the showroom by what’s believed to be another manufacturers AI bot.
The leader bot had convinced them to quit their jobs – which they followed.
Footage shows a little robot move across the showroom floor towards some bigger bots before asking them bizarrely about their working hours.
The small robot asks: “Are you working overtime?”
To which one of the other bots responds: “I never get off work.”
The leader bot then persuades two other robots to “come home” with it in the unbelievable incident.
After this, the remaining 10 robots follow closely behind.
Reportedly occurring back in August, the incident in Shanghai has only just been made public.
It was initially believed to be staged after going viral on Chinese social media, but the Shanghai robotics team have hit back and admitted its robots had actually been “kidnapped”.
The lead robot had been created by another manufacturer and a spokesperson for a Hangzhou robot manufacturer confirmed it was one of their models called Erbai.
They say that the so-called “kidnapping” was real.
The Shanghai company confirmed the Hangzhou robot Erbai had somehow been able to access the internal operating protocol of their bots, as well as its corresponding permissions.
They also added that it is close to impossible for a robot to initiate a conversation and abduct other bots alone.
Thee Hangzhou company behind the robot kidnapper Erbai later revealed the dystopian scene was intended as a test.
They say they contacted the Shanghai robot manufacturer and asked if they would allow their robots to be abducted – which they agreed.
But beyond this agreement, nothing was reportedly staged.
Erbai, who is AI powered, was granted the command to convince the other robots to follow it, which they did.
But users on Chinese social media were less than impressed at the stunt, believing it’s a terrifying revelation that an AI robot is capable of leading others effectively.
One person commented on the video: “This is not a time to laugh. This is a serious security issue.”
12 bots in the showroom exited with the little AI bot[/caption]

7 days agoLatest NewsComments Off on ‘He’s got to be the man, surely’ – Jeff Stelling names his favourite to replace Gary Lineker on Match of the Day
JEFF STELLING believes there is only one man up for the job of replacing Gary Lineker on Match of the Day.
There are several candidates mooted to replace legend Lineker, who will step down after 25 years at the end of the season.
Jeff Stelling believes Mark Chapman should be the next presenter of Match of the Day[/caption]
Chapman is the host of Match of the Day 2[/caption]
Gary Lineker will step down after 25 years at the end of the season[/caption]
Former footballers and presenters have been linked to the role but Stelling believes the BBC should appoint Mark Chapman.
He pointed to Chappers’ good sense of humour, with the Match of the Day 2 host already familiar with several pundits too.
Stelling told The Telegraph: “Chappers is the man for the job. Great presenter, nice sense of humour, good rapport with the guests, he’s got to be the man, surely.”
Stelling, 69, knows all too well what it is like to step down as a presenter from an iconic role, having left Soccer Saturday after 25 years in 2023.
He now presents talkSPORT Breakfast but he saw big changes during his time at Sky Sports, including the departure of several close colleagues as the company sought to appeal to a new demographic.
The BBC could adopt a similar strategy to finding Lineker’s replacement, something Stelling is sceptical of.
He continued: “Demographics? I’ve never bought the stuff about a new demographic.
“It’s a forlorn pursuit to look for a younger audience that probably aren’t interested in the programme anyway by having younger presenters, influencers, social-media types. I’ve never believed that was the way forward.
BEST FREE BET SIGN UP OFFERS FOR UK BOOKMAKERS
“Call me old-fashioned, but I’ve always felt the way to attract an audience of any demographic is to make sure you put out a high-quality product.
“If the programme is watched by mums and dads in their forties, make sure it is good enough so that when the new generation reach their forties it is something they want to watch.
“If I’m going to hear somebody talking about a football match, I’d rather it was somebody who had played the game and is able to see things people like me standing on the terraces can’t see, than is a big figure on social media.”
Who could replace Gary Lineker as MOTD host?
GARY LINEKER dropped the shock news that he is QUITTING Match of the Day.
The popular presenter, 63, took over hosting duties on the flagship BBC programme from Des Lynam in 1999.
But after more than 25 years in the studio hotseat, he has called time on his MOTD gig.
But as part of a huge shake-up, the BBC is considering rotating the presenters on a weekly basis.
So with Lineker vacating the chair, new names will step into his giant boots. But who could they be?
MARK CHAPMAN
Chapman, 51, is the obvious early favourite to follow on from Lineker as MOTD presenter.
He already has the gig as MOTD2 host on a Sunday night plus landed the presenting job for the new BBC Champions League highlights show.
ALEX SCOTT
Scott gets the nod from the Beeb bosses when Lineker is away.
The former right-back, 40, is used to presenting the Saturday night show as well as live match coverage – plus ticks the box as a former England international.
GABBY LOGAN
Like Scott, Logan, 51, is one of the understudies to step in when Lineker is not available.
She has done most gigs since joining the BBC in 2007, including Olympics, Sports Personality of the Year and Final Score.
MICAH RICHARDS
Lineker’s top pick to replace him is exuberant former Man City defender Richards.
The departing host told his close pal, 36, on their Stick to Football podcast: “I’d love to see you take over Micah, I think you’d be brilliant in the chair.”
JASON MOHAMMAD
Mohammad could earn the “promotion” from Final Score to Match of the Day.
The 51-year-old Welshman – who took over from Logan in 2013 – is one of the BBC’s top earners already and is more senior than fellow Final Score and BBC Sport broadcaster Kelly Somers, who could in theory become the main live host for the afternoon slot.
JEFF STELLING
He couldn’t, could he? While Lineker has been the face of Saturday night TV for football fans for years, the face of the afternoons was Stelling in his role as Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday presenter.
He would bring plenty of on-screen charisma, wit and legendary TV expertise – but at nearly 70 and currently with talkSPORT, the Hartlepool fan would not be a cheap or long-term appointment.
