Giggs slid in the DM’s of the maker of his favourite dairy-free custard[/caption]
Known for his iconic flows Talkin the Hardest and Loch Doh the rapper has been a pioneer for UK rap.
Giggs slid in the DM’s of the maker of his favourite dairy-free custard, to kick-start a collaboration that gives better access to dairy-free products in the UK.
He has now launched a limited edition of free cake and custard kits, featuring custom tableware alongside Oatly Vanilla Custard.
Bringing the collaboration to life, a series of Custard by Giggs films has been taking social media by storm, showing the rapper as a bake shop owner in South London.
Fans took to the comments to express their excitement at the new venture:
“This better be coming to stores nationwide! (fire emoji)” one user commented.
One fan penned: “This is the level of collaboration and artistry I’m talking about. Custard you kna?!!”
“This is one of the best collabs I have ever seen. Pure JOY,” added a third
Some famous celebrity faces were also seen in the comments:
Celebrity big brother star ZeZe Millz, penned: “ This is so cool (heart emoji)”
Fellow rapper Michael Dapaah, wrote: “Whoever thought of this creative & alignment smashed it.”
Even global superstar Busta Rhymes took to the comments posting a line of fire emojis.
Speaking on the new collab, Giggs said: “I grew up on cake and custard, but when my lactose intolerance kicked in when I was around 8 years old and started making me sick, the dessert I loved had to leave my life.
“When I found out my son was lactose intolerant too, we used to go all over the place looking for dairy-free alternatives so he wouldn’t miss out. There’s not a lot of options out there, but one day we found Oatly’s Vanilla Custard, and it tasted banging.
“Not enough people know about it, so I reached out to Oatly, and here we are a few months later…”
The launch comes as research reveals Black, Asian and other ethnic minorities in the UK are more than twice as likely than White groups to say they have lactose intolerance.
When asked how this affects them, two thirds (67%) said they miss out on their favourite desserts and over half (52%) said they miss out on other food experiences due to lack of alternatives.
Giggs also known as Nathaniel Thompson, shot to fame in 2008 with his breakthrough mixtape Walk In Da Park.
The rapper then went on to release his most famous track Talkin the Hardest which solidified his place as pioneer for grime and rap in the UK.
In 2010 the music star debuted his album Let Em Ave It which featured hit tracks like Look What The Cat Dragged In.
To date he has sold 100,000 albums and over 100,000 mixtapes, performing all over the world.

SAUNDERSFOOT in South Wales has been named one of the country’s best staycation spots by a team of travel experts.

The Welsh seaside town was named one of the best spots for a festive staycation by a team of experts from holidaycottages.co.uk[/caption]
Research from holidaycottages.co.uk recently revealed the best spots in the UK for a festive staycation.
Destinations across the UK were ranked based on their proximity to a cold plunge or a seaside sauna with Saundersfoot coming out on top.
A team of travel experts at holidaycottages.co.uk wrote: “Topping the list of locations is Saundersfoot in Pembrokeshire, followed by Saunton in North Devon, Sheringham in Norfolk, St Andrews in Fife, and Whitstable in Kent.
“Each selected offers spectacular sea views, a great availability of eateries and pubs, and a communal swim event to make a cold-water dip all the more appealing”.
In Saundersfoot, the judges praised the Sea and Steam sauna – a beachfront sauna that was set up by two locals.
They wrote: “Set up by locals, Bryony and Kerry, it was inspired by their passion for connecting people with nature and the health benefits of using saunas.
“Open all year round, the six-person hub features a built-in changing room and boasts breathtaking views across to Monkstone Point and Worms Head”.
The sauna is located on Saundersfoot Beach, which is one Saundersfoot’s main attractions.
While the beach is already popular among holidaymakers, it was named one of the world’s best beaches by TripAdvisor earlier this year.
Saundersfoot Beach was named as one of the cleanest beaches in the world by the travel experts.
The beach is routinely praised on TripAdvisor, with one person saying: “A clean expanse of beach with small shops, a few pubs and a fish and chip shop.”
Another added: “The main beach in Saundersfoot is spotlessly clean with clear shallow water.”
Saundersfoot Beach is ideal for swimming, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and fishing.
Originally built to transport coal from the nearby mines, Saundersfoot Harbour – and other parts of the town – have undergone a huge revamp in recent years.
So much so, the Welsh town was dubbed one of the best places to live by the Sunday Times earlier this year.
Other attractions for visitors include Saundersfoot Lighthouse, which was built in 1848 to mark the entrance to the harbour.
Holidaymakers can go on boat excursions with Saundersfoot Pleasure Boats.
Other nearby attractions include Battlefield Live – a laser combat centre.
Saundersfoot is a 70-minute drive from Swansea, and it’s a two-hour drive from Cardiff.
What are the Sun team's favourite seaside towns?
THE Sun’s travel team share some of their favourite English seaside towns.
Folkestone, Kent
With views of France (on a very clear day), the main attraction is the Harbour Arm, sitting at the edge of the converted train tracks and selling hand-crafted goods and amazing food.
The multicoloured high street with shops and restaurants can’t be missed, my favourites being Burrito Buoy for some amazing margaritas and The Folkestone Bookshop for some novels.
You’ll need to pack your beach shoes as it has a stony beach over a sandy beach – but after a few drinks at the much loved pilot bar, you’ll hardly care.
Kara Godfrey, Deputy Travel Editor
Mousehole, Cornwall
The small sandy bay has retained it’s chocolate box charm, crammed with weathered fishing boats and backed by pokey cafes and airy art galleries where seaside-inspired works hang from the walls.
For impeccable views of a wild sea and homemade grub, head to Rock Pool Cafe which sits atop a craggy cliff and order a ‘make it yourself’ hot chocolate.
There are some impressive coastal walks – but be warned it can be hilly.
Sophie Swietochowski, Assistant Travel Editor
Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire
Accessible on a spit of sand when the tide is out, this quirky little community art project is made up of driftwood, flags and mementoes from those who have visited to admire the huge swathes of golden sands and sparkling waters.
Sadly the original was destroyed in a fire in 2023 but an enthusiastic band of local volunteers are slowly re-building the landmark.
Lisa Minot, Head of Travel
Meanwhile, this seaside town is the best in the UK and has England’s best visitor experience.
And here are The Sun travel team’s favourite UK seaside towns.

7 days agoLatest NewsComments Off on Michael Owen spotted in Egypt to star in new movie despite claiming he HATES films and has only watched eight of them
MICHAEL OWEN has been spotted in Egypt as he turns to the big screen to star in a top-10 highest grossing film.
The 44-year-old’s surprise acting role in football movie “El Hareefa 2” comes 10 years after Owen first claimed that he “HATED films”.
A picture on X emerged on Wednesday which showed Owen in Cairo – with a big smile across his face – as he prepares for his special appearance.
Footie fans soon uncovered the film’s poster – which showed the last English Ballon d’Or winner front and centre.
“El Harefa 2” serves as a sequel to the original “El Hareefa'” which hit the screens earlier this year.
The plot for that film, as per IMDb’s 6.4 rating, centred around teenage football lover Maged and his transition from private school to a public one – and his adventures in their street football team.
Interestingly, this shock pivot into the film scene comes a decade after Owen openly stated his disdain for the cinema.
In 2014, Owen wrote on X: “Watched my eighth ever film on the flight home. Must have been bored. #HateFilms.”
On the same day, he also posted: “Films I’ve been forced to watch: Rocky, Heat, Ghost, Jurassic Park, Cool Runnings, Seabiscuit, Karate Kid, Forest Gump”.
But this marks Owen’s second foray into film, having made a brief cameo in the 2007 cult classic “Goal II: Living the Dream”.
