THE top 15 house party rules have been revealed – from bringing your own booze to a strict bedroom law every Brit should apparently follow.
It comes after 2,000 participants voted for their party dos and don’ts.
Participants in a poll have voted for their house party dos and don’ts[/caption]
These included not entering bedrooms without permission[/caption]
Voters also believe party goers should not bring uninvited guests[/caption]
These included not entering bedrooms without permission (40 per cent), not bringing uninvited guests (38 per cent) and not pinching other people’s drinks (31 per cent).
Other essential etiquette tips were to bring your own alcohol (32 per cent), dress for comfort, not for show (29 per cent) and help to tidy up before you leave (27 per cent).
The research by drinks company White Claw also found that 35 per cent love a good house party as the ultimate way to catch up with friends.
With the cost-of-living crisis tightening our budgets, a third of people say they’re an attractive prospect, and 48 per cent prefer more intimate surroundings.
Sarah, 26 from Croydon got to experience the set-up and said: “I love going to house parties but hate hosting them, they can be such a faff and I’m always worried about my neighbours.
“It was so great when this party turned out to be something completely different. I could actually talk to people and get to know them, without shouting over loud music.
“It felt like so much more of a community, like everyone was there to connect. Honestly it was such a refreshing experience!”
The study also revealed four in 10 are put off hosting a house party due to the clean up afterwards, while others are deterred by potential damages (25 per cent) and neighbours complaining about noise (23 per cent).
Half of those surveyed wish they could attend more house parties than they currently do.
This is because they feel ‘cosy and safe’ (58 per cent), make conversations easier (58 per cent), and are cheaper (52 per cent).
Plus, nearly half (47 per cent) love knowing most, if not all, of the guests, and no one’s complaining about skipping the drink lines (43 per cent).
Meanwhile, 23 per cent said hosting a house party is too stressful and time consuming, and 21 per cent went as far as to say they feel the social pressure of hosting a party outweighs the fun of it.
Based on its research, White Claw has launched a mini, two metres squared house party experience to emulate the feeling of intimacy that party-goers enjoy.
Michael Dean, a spokesperson for the company, said: “We always knew we’re a nation of house party lovers, but it’s interesting to see that Brits are now really interested in making connections with others when partying.
“While it’s fun to attend a house party, we know they can be stressful to host if people don’t follow all the rules.
“After bringing Brits the coolest party-stop corner shop last year, the Claw-ner Shop, this year we’re answering the nation’s prayers and offering another once-in-a-lifetime experience: the World’s Smallest House party.”
Don’t bring uninvited guests without the host’s permission
Don’t drink other people’s drinks without asking
Bring your own alcohol
Dress for comfort, not for show
Help tidy up before you leave
Recycle all alcohol bottles and cans
Don’t hog the bathroom
Everyone should be allowed to contribute to the playlist
No taking photos of strangers without permission
Be on time
No shouting
Assign a ‘quiet spot’ or ‘quiet room’ for guests to take a breather
Start early, finish early
Bring a present or gift for the host

PEP GUARDIOLA lambasted Phil Foden for his “unacceptable” mistake in a furious x-rated rant last season.
Guardiola’s heated dressing down after City’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace last December was captured as part of Manchester City’s new behind-the-scenes documentary.
Pep Guardiola launched an x-rated rant at his players after last season’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace[/caption]
Guardiola labelled Phil Foden’s penalty error as ‘unacceptable’[/caption]
The Premier League’s dominant force have today released a feature film following their record-breaking four-in-a-row Prem title success last term.
The movie, aptly named ‘Together: 4-In-A-Row’, gives fans a glimpse into what it took for the Cityzens to win their fourth consecutive Premier League title.
But with that comes the challenges they faced too, including blowing a 2-0 lead at home to Crystal Palace in December and the aftermath of that draw.
City had led by two goals but saw their comfort blanked ripped from underneath them as Jean-Philippe Mateta bagged a late goal and then won a penalty in stoppage time – which was converted my Michael Olise to share the points.
The late collapse left Guardiola fuming, particularly with Phil Foden, who was the man that had brought down Mateta in the dying embers of the game to give away the spot-kick.
Acting in frustration, Guardiola lashed out at Foden’s mistimed tackle and blasted it as “unacceptable.”
He said: “Phil, in the f*****g 18-yard box, you don’t touch the opponent. It’s unacceptable, Phil Foden, unacceptable!”
Going on to blast the team as a whole by adding: “You are to apologise. You are teenagers.

“I say something when we drop points against Tottenham and Liverpool? I say something? Tell me. I blame you? I say something?
“Here [pointing at his head], use it. Here, you have to use it! F*****g hell. F*****g hell.”
Perhaps it’s those standards that helped Foden kick on to become the PFA Player of the Year last term and the team to claw back a seven-point deficit from title rivals Arsenal later in the season.
However, Guardiola admitted in the documentary that he doesn’t like getting angry with his players and would rather stay calm in the dressing room.
“I’m not really proud sometimes.”, He said. “Most of the times, right after the game when I am angry, for my emotions, to it to the players.
“I’m a human being and make mistakes and I don’t like that. I don’t like it.
“In that moment from 2-0 down, an unnecessary penalty, sometimes I cannot control myself either.”
Guardiola has become well known for his impassioned antics on the sidelines and in the dressing room.
But the Spaniard is widely considered as the best manager in the world with his unusual techniques all part of his genius.
And it looks like City players will have to put up with that harsh criticism and direct approach from the former Barcelona boss for a little longer too.
It’s expected he will put pen to paper on a new one-year deal with the option of a further 12 months.

What will happen to Man City?
MAN CITY are favourites to win the Premier League title yet again – but there is one elephant in the room that threatens to put the skids under the Etihad giants.
Sunsport’s MARTIN LIPTON discusses what the next few months could hold with Head of Sport SHAUN CUSTIS….
Custis: So the big question – will there be a resolution this season?
Lipton: Yes…. probably! We know the case will start to be dealt with in October or November.
It will take at least a month to go through the evidence. So I suspect around March, April time, we will get a result. But that’s where it starts to get tricky.
Custis: Why is that?
Lipton: If the result is in City’s favour, that’s the end of the matter. They will be cleared. They will have no punishment to face.
But if City are found guilty, these will be the heaviest penalties ever imposed by the Premier League.
I suspect if they are found guilty, they will be expelled from the league or given a massive points deduction and a huge fine so that they’re not in the Premier League next season.
7 days agoLatest NewsComments Off on Former England star forced to seek legal advice after furious Jose Mourinho row went public
DANNY ROSE has revealed he sought legal advice after his infamous bust-up with Jose Mourinho went public without his knowledge.
Rose said he was not made aware that their row was being filmed until it was included in Tottenham’s Amazon Prime documentary.
The defender said he did not know that Mourinho had allowed cameras to be installed for the All or Nothing series in 2020.
Rose sought legal advice when he found out a recording existed six months later.
In the scene, Rose arrived in the then Spurs manager’s office to ask Mourinho what “his problem is”.
The Amazon clip showed the pair butt heads about Rose’s game time, before the Special One accused the former full-back of not showing up against Liverpool.
And in an appearance on former team-mate Kyle Walker’s BBC podcast, Rose explained that he was not informed until much later that their dispute was filmed.
Rose said: “So when Poch was there. There were no cameras in his office. He didn’t allow that.
“So when I’ve gone to knock on the door. I’m assuming there’s still no cameras in the office, but they’ve put one in now and I didn’t know that.
“This chat is in December. I’d gone on loan to Newcastle in January. I didn’t then get notified by one of the lads until May.

“Got this and they’re putting it in. So yeah, I wasn’t happy. I had to get legal advice.”
Rose, who won 29 England caps between 2016-19, never played for Tottenham again and subsequently loaned to Newcastle in January 2021.
Rose added: “I only worked under him for eight or 10 weeks. It wasn’t like there was a huge falling out or anything like that.
“I didn’t really have a relationship with him. It was just a normal player-manager relationship. ‘Hello. Good morning. How are you?’
“Well, obviously he came in and he had this approach of wanting to build with three centre backs and then having the right back as the outlet.
“And my game was more, you know, not more offensive but I enjoyed being offensive.
“His system was that the left sided player at the back four would be a centre back who’s not going to be adventurous and go forward.
“Already my days were numbered, you know, at the club when he wanted to adopt that approach.
Rose could be heard accusing Mourinho of effectively playing favourites.
The documentary showed Rose saying: “You’re right and I respect what you say. But other people have been s**t in training, s**t in games but play every game and are in the squad every game.
“It’s not fair. The defence has kept two clean sheets, they play every game. It’s not fair.”
The final straw for the 30-year-old came when he was axed again for the 0-0 draw at Watford on January 18.
Rose turned up at the club’s Enfield training HQ the following morning to have it out with his gaffer.
He left at the end of the 2020-21 season after 14 years at the club and joined Watford, for whom he made nine appearances before agreeing to retire in 2022.
