It comes just weeks after the midfielder won the Ballon d’Or, leading Real Madrid to boycott the event.

Los Blancos Vinicius Jr was tipped to win the award and snub led Real president Florentino Perez to turn down the invite.
But Rodri still admires the club and said it would be difficult to ignore the Spanish giants if they came knocking.
He told Spanish podcast El Larguero: “When Real Madrid call you, the best club in history and the most successful… it makes you proud and you always have to listen.
“It’s obvious. You always have to pay attention.”
Rodri, 28, also has no qualms about joining Real despite his affiliation to fierce rivals Atletico Madrid, having come through the club’s youth system.

ALAN Halsall’s future on Coronation Street has been revealed as the actor takes part in this year’s I’m A Celebrity.
Alan, who plays mechanic Tyrone Dobbs on the Weatherfield cobbles, was given time off by ITV bosses for his jungle stint.
Alan’s future on the long-running soap has been revealed[/caption]
But fans of the character will barely notice his absence from screens as his disappearance will be blended into the background of other Corrie storylines.
The Sun can reveal the character is not being given an exit storyline by producers and is expected back at work soon after returning from Australia.
A source said: “Because Alan’s time off from filming is so short bosses won’t be addressing his break on screen.
“Filming for Coronation Street is 10 weeks in advance so any potential scenes involving Tyrone wouldn’t be aired until February next year.
“Alan is extremely popular on set and the whole crew are rooting for him in the jungle and can’t wait to have him back and hear about the experience.”
Alan, 42, joined the ITV soap back in 1998 and has been a permanent fixture on the cobbles ever since, with his character Tyrone married to Fizz, played by Jennie McAlpine.
I’m A Celebrity fans have watched Alan open up on his dating life to his fellow campmates, addressing his split from former Corrie sta ex Lucy-Jo Hudson.
He said: “Lucy left Corrie in about 2005, then we got married in 2009. We then split up after Sienna was born.”Alan continued:
“I love what I’ve got, even now I’m on my own I love just being dad. I’ve never done dating apps.”
But on the show, despite being camp leader, Alan hasn’t had much airtime so far.
Alan previously told how he was gutted to have to pull out of last year’s I’m A Celeb due to a knee injury.
But some viewers have started to poke fun about his lack of time on-screen, with one saying: “The leaves have gotten more airtime than Tyrone from Corrie at this point.”
So far, Radio 1 presenter Dean Mccullough and Loose Women star GK Barry continue to be put up for the Bushtucker Trials.

BRITISH Airways has reversed its decision to scrap a long-haul flight route from the UK.
The flag carrier announced earlier this month that they would be ending their London Heathrow flights to Bahrain.
British Airways will no longer scrap its route to Bahrain[/caption]
Having first launched 92 years ago, the route was set to end in March 2025.
However, they have since u-turned and confirmed that the route would continue.
They said: “Following discussions with our partners and stakeholders, we can confirm we will operate a service between London Heathrow and Bahrain International Airport three times a week from the start of the Summer 2025 season.
“This will increase to a daily service from the start of the Winter 2025 season.”
This was also backed by Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, CEO of the Bahrain Airport Company.
He said: “As the oldest airline operating out of Bahrain for over 92 years, the enduring partnership with British Airways is a testament to our shared commitment to excellence.”
The route first launched in 1932, when the airline was named Imperial Airways.
The route scrapping was due to ongoing delays with deliveries of Rolls-Royces parts, an issue affecting the entire airline industry.
They said at the time: “We’re disappointed that we’ve had to make further changes to our schedule as we continue to experience delays to the delivery of engines and parts from Rolls-Royce – particularly concerning the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines fitted to our 787 aircraft.”
British Airways will still scrap its London to Kuwait route from March 2025.
In October, the London to Beijing was suspended, with no confirmed date for it being restarted.
The route first started in 1999, and only resumed in 2023 after the pandemic.
That same month, the London Heathrow and Belgrade was also scrapped after just one year, when it returned after a 13-year hiatus.
In better news, the flag carrier relaunched their flights to Bangkok from Chiang Mai for the first time since the pandemic.
The Thailand route was suspended in 2020, but will operate three times a week, going up to five times a week in January and February.
