Jeremy Clarkson beams with delight as he poses with 90s legends at Farmers Dog pub
JEREMY Clarkson set fans abuzz after his girlfriend Lisa Hogan shared a photo of him posing with members of the 90s pop rock band, The Corrs.
The Clarkson’s Farm star could be seen sporting a big grin as he put his arms around the three Irish siblings – Caroline, Sharon, and Andrea Corr.
The Corrs performed at Jeremy Clarkson’s pub last week[/caption] The TV star posed for a photo with the band members and his girlfriend Lisa[/caption]His partner Lisa also joined in the group photoshoot.
The Corrs treated pubgoers at The Farmer’s Dog to an intimate acoustic set last week.
Their nostalgic hits had the crowd singing along on what was described as a “great night in”.
At the time, a video from the evening was posted to the Farmer’s Dog Instagram page, capturing the lively atmosphere.
The caption read: “What a great night in the pub with The Corrs.
“The way a good pub night should be ..acoustic set, a few drinks, great friends. Jeremy Clarkson thanks for organising it!”
Fans of both Clarkson and The Corrs flooded the comments, calling the band “amazing” and praising the pub’s unique charm.
Much to the surprise of everyone having a pint that night, Ellen DeGeneres also made an appearance at The Farmer’s Dog that evening.
She could be seen in the video that was posted of The Corrs, sitting in the audience alongside her wife Portia de Rossi.
Ellen swapped her trademark blonde tresses for a brunette look and was wearing a black turtle neck jumper, while actress Portia matched her in a black outfit.
Pop stars James Blunt, 50, and Natalie Imbruglia, 49, were also present as they enjoyed a few drinks with pals.
Jeremy Clarkson bought the Oxfordshire pub for £1million this summer.
He had to do a lot of renovation work on the site before it could be opened to the public, but it seems to have paid off, as The Farmer’s Dog has received high praise for being a “traditional British pub”.
Mum & lover who wheeled tot’s body around in pram for THREE days after she was kicked to death are convicted over horror
A MUM and her lover who wheeled a toddler’s body around for three days after she was kicked to death have been convicted over the horror.
Isabella Rose Wheildon suffered a “regime of escalating brutality” at the hands of evil Scott Jeff.
The two-year-old’s mum Chelsea Gleason-Mitchell simply “stood back, watched and did nothing” as her lover carried out the “callous, cruel and ultimately fatal” attacks.
Little Isabella is believed to have died on June 26 last year in a temporary housing unit in Ipswich.
But twisted Jeff and Gleason-Mitchell, both 24, kept the girl’s death a secret.
Ipswich Crown Court was told they carried on pushing her body around in a pushchair with the hood pulled up to shield her face.
The couple also took her corpse on a shopping trip to buy computer gaming equipment.
She was finally discovered on June 30 under blankets in a shower at the housing unit.
Jeff was today found guilty of murder and two counts of cruelty to a child following a trial.
Gleason-Mitchell, who had admitted causing or allowing Isabella’s death, wept as she was cleared of murder but convicted of child cruelty.
The court was told police officers had been greeted by a “very strong smell” when the bathroom was unlocked at the couple’s home.
One pulled back the blankets to see the “face of a young child who was not moving”.
Prosecutor Sally Howes KC said: “He was aware of severe bruising on her face. She was cold to the touch.”
The discovery was made when a woman reported to police on June 30 that she had received a Facebook message from a “friend of hers”.
Ms Howes said: “That message disclosed that her friend’s daughter had died in her sleep three days before and was in her pushchair in the bathroom.
“That friend was the first defendant, Chelsea Gleason-Mitchell, and her daughter was Isabella.”
A post mortem found she had “extensive external traumatic injuries to the soft tissues of the body including head, neck, torso, limbs” and other areas.
She had also suffered fractures to both wrists and a “complex pelvic fracture involving several bones”.
Her cause of death was given as “bone marrow embolism caused by skeletal trauma”.
The court heard this “severe” damage to her pelvis was likely caused by “either kicking or stamping or both”.
Ms Howes said: “It’s the prosecution case that Isabella Wheildon was a healthy, contented, well-cared for little girl until Scott Jeff came into her young life.
“Towards the end of May 2023, he entered a relationship with Chelsea Gleason-Mitchell.
“From that time up to her death, Isabella was subjected to a regime of escalating brutality which was callous, cruel and ultimately fatal.”
Gleason-Mitchell and Jeff lived together in hotels in Great Yarmouth, a caravan park and “camping in a very small tent on Caister beach” in Norfolk before they ended up in Ipswich.
The mum told Great Yarmouth Borough Council she and her daughter were “homeless” and escaping domestic abuse from her ex.
She also falsely claimed Jeff was Isabella’s biological dad and refused a home by Bedfordshire Council for her and the youngster as she wanted to stay with her partner.
After moving into the unit, CCTV showed the toddler being pushed around in her chair, wearing sunglasses with the hood up, concealing her head, it was said.
The court heard the couple went with Isabella out on June 26, visiting a barber shop so Jeff could get a haircut.
They returned at 3.15pm with CCTV showing the youngster’s legs and feet moving in her pushchair – suggesting she was still alive.
The court was told this is believed to the last image of Isabella and that she had died later that day.
Ms Howes also told the court that both Jeff and Gleason-Mitchell were habitual drug users.
She said a “safe, proper and obvious inference can be drawn that both wilfully exposed Isabella to drugs”.
The couple have been remanded into custody to be sentenced on December 13.
David Beckham ‘appoints ex-Premier League star’ and former Lionel Messi team-mate as Inter Miami boss
DAVID BECKHAM has appointed former Prem star Javier Mascherano as Inter Miami’s new manager, according to reports.
Mascherano, 40, will now coach his ex-Barcelona team-mates Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba.
The former Liverpool star has signed a long-term contract with the MLS franchise, according to transfer journalist Cesar Luis Merlo.
He will also leave his position as manager of Argentina‘s under-20 team, where he coaches a number of Inter Miami‘s young prospects.
It’s Mascherano’s first position at a senior men’s club as the Athletic report that documents are “being prepared”.
Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino stepped down as gaffer just three days ago after Miami’s shock elimination from the first round of the MLS play-offs.
Miami lost the three-game series with a 3-2 defeat in Game 3 to Atlanta United, sealing their exit and ending their 2024 campaign.
Messi, Alba and Suarez played in all three games, with the eight-time Ballon d’Or scoring in the final loss.
Mascherano joined Liverpool in 2006 and played three seasons at Anfield where he formed part of an incredible midfield trio with Steven Gerrard and Xabi Alonso.
Mascherano then went onto to win trophies with Messi, Suarez, Alba and Busquets during his eight seasons at Barcelona.

During his time in Spain, Mascherano won five LaLiga titles and the Champions League twice.
He’s not the first former Prem star to take the reigns at Inter, with Phil Neville previously managing the club for two-and-a-half years before he was sacked by pal Beckham.
Martino, who guided Miami to the best regular season record in MLS history this season, made the decision to leave for personal reasons.
The 61-year-old Martino – who also coached Messi with Barca and Argentina‘s national team before reuniting with him in South Florida – gave no signs of leaving when the season ended earlier this month.
Miami were 26-9-12 in MLS regular season and won the Leagues Cup and the Supporters Shield in 2023.
Mascherano is likely to face a hectic 2025 as the team will likely venture out on another international pre-season tour.
There’s also the 34-match MLS slate and Miami will be one of the teams in the Club World Cup that starts in June as well.
But Miami won’t gather for training camp to start the 2025 season until January.
Mascherano is the latest ex-Messi teammate to join the MLS franchise – but the first in a coaching capacity.
He coached Argentina at the 2024 Paris Olympics to a quarterfinal exit losing out to silver medallist France.
It’s likely to be the final year with all four of the team’s ex-Barcelona superstars.
Busquets and Messi see their deals expire after the 2025 season, Suarez is in negotiations over a one-year extension, and Alba has an option for a further year on his deal.
Barry Hearn confirms ‘very straightforward’ plans for World Snooker Championships that lets him ‘treble prize money’
SNOOKER supremo Barry Hearn admits the World Championships could soon have a new home.
The hallowed Crucible in Sheffield has been the home of the prestigious tournament for the last 47 years.
But the Crucible’s deal to host the event expires in 2027[/caption] Snooker supremo Barry Hearn has revealed the tournament could be moved to Saudi Arabia[/caption]But the venue’s deal to host the competition expires in 2027 and potential news hosts, including Saudi Arabia, will likely soon express an interest in staging the event.
And Matchroom founder Hearn admits The Kingdom could soon be the tournament’s new home.
When asked if Saudi could land the competition, the 76-year-old told talkSPORT. “Yes. Of course.
“I mean, look, it’s very straightforward. Saudi, we do events in Saudi now, and they’re getting bigger.
“But they’re still not the crowd and not the atmosphere. I understand all that.
Hearn admits it’d make financial sense for snooker’s biggest competition, just like the biggest fights in boxing, to be held in Saudi.
He continued: “Instead of me selling the Crucible out and making £3.5million, £3.7m on gate, I get a £20m site fee from Saudi.
“If I get £20m from [the] site fee, I can double, treble the prize money.

“All the players say, ‘Oh, we love the Crucible, we don’t want to leave.’
“I’d say, ‘I’ll tell you what I’m going to do, I’ll treble the prize money.’
“We’re gone, straight away. We’re led by money, let’s not kid ourselves.”
A potential switch to Saudi has been hailed by snooker icon Ronnie O’Sullivan.
In an exclusive interview with SunSport, ‘The Rocket’ said: “I don’t like the Crucible.
“I don’t think you can get in and out of it. I think definitely it’s a wise decision to take it away from Sheffield.
“Still have a tournament there. Why not? But just not the world championship over 17 days.
“It’s a massive circus and you need a massive space to accommodate it.
“I think Saudi Arabia would be great. They’ve got the resources and would do it great.”
