Although she was focussed on other projects, the star has now exclusively told The Sun that she would love to return once again to Coronation Street.
In an interview hosted by WhichBingo, she told us: “I would absolutely love to go back to Coronation Street.
“I live now where I did growing up and I’ve moved around so much, you know, with my ex, football and stuff, so I’m back.
“But to be able to do Coronation Street, they would have to ask me back.
“Also if I went back and stuff, I’d want to be in a good storyline and what have you.”
The former Celebs Go Dating star admitted that she only has fond memories of her time on the show.
Helen relished the challenge to be involved in major storylines and she thinks it helped to ‘shape’ her as a person.
“I was on the show from when I was like nine years old, and then from being age 14, I was all in. I was in the big story lines,” she admitted.
“I went back when I was about 27 when I just had Matilda, and then I had to leave because I felt pregnant with Delilah after about 18 months. And I enjoyed it.
“But I think when I was younger, I always did like the big storylines, but when I look back, I was so lucky to be in that from such a young age.
“It really was such an incredible experience and it really shaped me as well.”
