Kyiv has said Russia may have 10 of the terrifying weapons in its arsenal.
And tyrant Putin gloated about his “newest” toy after the attack – vowing to mass produce dozens more.
Now military alliance Nato and Ukraine are due to hold emergency talks next Tuesday, Sky reports.
Meanwhile Nato members including the UK will discuss the threat posed by Russia’s missiles and fears about Ukraine’s front line being on the verge of collapse.
Deranged Vlad said in a meeting with military chiefs: “We will continue these tests, including in combat conditions, depending on the situation and character of the security threats posted to Russia.”
He added that he has “a stockpile of such systems ready for use”.
The attack, Putin said, was in response to Ukraine firing western long-range missiles into Russia last week.
While Russia’s Oreshnik rocket was fitted just with conventional warheads on Thursdays blast – Putin warned that it could be even more devastating if used with nuclear weapons.
The Pentagon also said that Moscow could modify the weapon to carry a nuclear payload.
“It could be refitted to certainly carry different types of conventional or nuclear warheads,” spokesperson Sabrina Singh warned.
Head of Russia’s strategic missile forces vowed it could reach targets across Europe.
He said: “Russia considers itself entitled to use weapons against military facilities of countries that permit the use of their weapons against Russia.
“Since this moment, as we have underscored repeatedly, the conflict in Ukraine, provoked by the West, has acquired elements of global nature.”
The Kremlin later double down: “Russia has demonstrated its ability to respond to Western actions by using ballistic missiles.”
The Oreshnik is an intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) based on an older Russian Rubezh model.
Both are part of the same family as the original RS-24 Yars ICBM – a ferocious Russian weapon.

More than three years later, the Portuguese has masterminded constant progress in West London, has restored his reputation and could make Premier League history this weekend.

If his team get a result at home to struggling Wolves on Saturday, Silva will have overseen the best-ever start to a Prem campaign for the Cottagers.
It would surpass the 18 points from 12 games managed by Chris Coleman in 2003-04.
And it would put him on course to beat the best-ever season haul of 53 points managed in 2008-09 by Roy Hodgson, whose team had only 17 points at that stage in the season.
Silva has quietly gone about his business and turned Fulham from perennial yo-yo club into a solid top-flight side with minimum fuss.
And while compatriot Ruben Amorim begins his Premier League journey this weekend with Manchester United, Silva’s reemergence as a top-job contender has been going under the radar.
Fulham were sure they had landed a gem when they convinced Silva to spearhead their bid to regain their Prem status in 2021, after relegation under Scott Parker.
But some supporters were not so sure given how it had gone pear-shaped for Silva in his previous job with Everton 18 months prior.
How wrong any were to doubt him, as the diligent former right-back romped to promotion via winning the Championship before managing 10th- and 13th-placed finishes in the top flight with no risk of danger.

While transfer business on the likes of Bernd Leno, Calvin Bassey, Andreas Pereira and Emile Smith Rowe has been spot on – and speaks to the productive relationship he has with co-owner and Director of Football Tony Khan.
Heurelho Gomes, who played under Silva at Watford in 2017-18, is a huge fan of his old gaffer, praising him for his diligence, tactical acumen and approachability.
The Brazilian still remembers being wowed by Silva changing to a 3-4-2-1 formation minutes before kick-off against West Ham back in 2017, which led to a dominant 2-0 win.
While on another occasion the ex-Tottenham goalkeeper was in at 7am at the training ground for an MRI on his back – only to be surprised to discover Silva was in there at that time every day.
The Brazilian told SunSport in association with thepokies: “He is underrated.
“He can coach any club in the Premier League, especially because now he has more experience in the league.
“His first season with Watford, it was just a few games, but he did amazing with us. His first season with Everton was amazing. The second season was not as amazing but this depends on the players as well.
“He came back with Fulham and did an amazing job, taking Fulham to the Premier League again in first place, then to maintain the club as Fulham, fighting in the top eight is an amazing achievement.
“He is able to coach the best clubs in Europe.
“Fulham is an amazing club, Everton is an amazing club, Watford as well, but he deserves to be a manager of the top four, top five, top six clubs in England, for sure.”

Molly also offered a peek into her sleek, white marble bathroom, complete with polished walls and floors, before enjoying a sweet treat thoughtfully left by the staff.
She was also treated to one of the hotel’s famous Marmaduke Luxury Bears, costing £120 in the gift shop.

They headed to members club Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire to support the mum-of-one.
Opening up British Vogue about her shock split, she said: “I had a few days where I thought, ‘I don’t really know how I’m going to get through this’.”
Molly was surrounded by her inner circle as she attempted to drown her sorrows with a glass of rosé.
But the influencer who has frequently said that she doesn’t drink alcohol because she hates getting drunk, decided to put the booze down.
“It’s literally like four friends,” she said.
“That’s about it, really. It just works best that way, because then you know the people that are around you are genuinely there for the right reasons.”
Tommy reportedly cheated on the businesswoman “a number of times” while she was sitting at home “holding the baby” – though he has vehemently denied the claims.
Molly said that Tommy would address cheating claims in the future, but for now they are only interested in protecting their very young daughter.
Commenting on the cheating allegations, Molly said: “No one will ever really know what went down apart from Tommy and I, and that’s how we’d like to keep it, for Bambi’s sake.”
She added: “I do think that he will talk about things eventually.

The influencer dumped her fiancé hours after he returned home from a lads’ holiday to North Macedonia back in August over claims he cheated on her with a Danish woman.
Tommy has strongly denied accusations of cheating and his behaviour being behind his and Molly’s split.
Speaking out ahead of the release his autobiography, Lightening Can Strike Twice, he stressed: “I think if you were going to cheat on someone you should just sit down and say, ‘I don’t love you any more’, clearly, because you want to go and pursue other people.
‘When you get to that stage, I think you should just call it a day. If you want to go out there and have affairs with women then you definitely shouldn’t be with your partner.
“Definitely not. And have I ever reached that point? No.”
Tommy and Molly met on Love Island in 2019 have a one-year-old daughter Bambi together and created a joint home and lifestyle brand that is thought to be worth around 9 million.
