AN urgent hunt has been launched for a British teenager who was last seen at an airport in Poland.
Ania, 18, has been missing for more than a week.
She was last known to be at the Krakow John Paul II International Airport in Balice on November 11 at around 11pm.

District Police Headquarters in Krakow said: “An 18-year-old British citizen has gone missing.
“Missing Ania was last seen on 11th November this year at around 11pm at the Krakow-Balice Airport.

Interior experts reveal the 10 tips on creating the perfect Christmas home that takes you from tacky to timeless
WE all love a B&M or Home Bargains spree to pick up some new Christmas pieces.
But interior designers have insisted that this festive season is all about timeless decorations.
Interior experts have revealed how to go from tacky to timeless with Christmas decorations[/caption] Natural touches including berries and pine cones make all the difference[/caption]So forget plastic reindeers and disposable decor and embrace elegance, sustainability, and thoughtful touches.
Here, three interior design experts share their tips on creating a chic and welcoming Christmas home.
Embrace Natural Elements
Lynette Pymm, founder of Black By Design, said: “Natural materials like pine cones, eucalyptus, and berries bring a sophisticated, rustic feel to Christmas décor.
“Scatter them around in bowls or create a simple, fresh garland for a grounded, elegant look.”
Layered Lighting for Ambience
Nicole Hussey, Creative Manager at rucomfy, said: “Soft lighting is key for that cosy winter feel.
“Incorporate warm white fairy lights and candle-lit lanterns for a soft glow that enhances the festive spirit without overpowering the room.”
Vintage and Reclaimed Ornaments
Tracey Hague, founder of Where Saints Go, said: “Using vintage ornaments or those crafted from reclaimed materials is a great way to add character.
“These pieces are unique, often beautifully made, and they bring a sense of history and nostalgia that’s perfect for Christmas.”
Choose a Statement Colour Palette
Lynette added: “Colour is everything. Rather than sticking to red and green, try a sophisticated palette—think deep forest green with gold, or midnight blue paired with silver.
“It keeps the look fresh and stylish, with a nod to the season.”
Sustainable Wrapping Stations
Nicole added: “Set up a wrapping station with eco-friendly papers, ribbons, and twine.
“It keeps things organised and creates a lovely visual when you use brown kraft paper or recycled fabric.
“Add a sprig of pine for a simple, festive touch.”
Incorporate Textured Throws and Cushions
Tracey added: “Layering textures adds warmth to a space. Opt for soft throws in faux fur or wool and cushions in rich, wintery fabrics.
“Not only is this cosy, but it also adds visual interest that doesn’t feel overly seasonal.”

Lynette said: “Christmas is a wonderful time to experiment with handmade décor.
“Try a centrepiece made of candles, small glass vases, and greenery from your garden.
“It’s easy, sustainable, and a great way to make the table setting feel festive without traditional gimmicks.”
Go Big on Greenery
Nicole said: “Use greenery beyond just the tree. Garlands, wreaths, and small potted evergreens around the home are timeless and add a fresh, vibrant feel that isn’t too overtly ‘holiday’.”
Personalised Place Settings
Tracey added: “A simple way to make holiday meals feel special is to personalise each setting.
“Use handwritten name cards or tiny ornaments that your guests can take home.
“It’s a thoughtful touch that doesn’t require mass-produced decorations.”
Bring in Warm Metals
Lynette added: “Accents in brass, copper, or gold make any space feel festive and luxurious.
“You can add them through candle holders, frames, or mirrors—just enough to reflect light and warmth around the room.”
