Georgie took pity on a hungover Fergal and urged him to get some rest.

But Georgie was then irritated when Ronan insulted Fergal.

After this, Fergal lied about spending the night with a woman when Gar and Jacinta questioned his whereabouts.

Georgie was then annoyed when Ronan questioned why he was giving Fergal the time of day.

And Gar stood up for Fergal when Ronan questioned him about a racist attack that was carried out the previous night.

During this, Fergal was troubled when Jacinta brought up Georgie in conversation.

RTE viewers were all left saying the same thing after seeing the episode and took to social media to express their opinions.

Ciara wrote: “Fergal has a track record, whilst Jacinta sounds like a broken record.”

Another fan added: “Fergal boasting of his conquests that never happened… Because he is in denial.”

Elsewhere in Carrigtsown, Nora was worried that Jack is feeling lonely in America.

And Carol warned Bob not to get friendly with Tyler.

Carol was also hurt when Ray revealed Nora was concerned about Jack.

And Ray was relieved when Nikki switched her attention to Doug.

Meanwhile, Carol told Tommy she was going to visit Jack ahead of her surgery.

HEALTH SCARE

Nora confronted Carol, demanding to know why Jack thinks she’s ill.

But Carol came clean to Nora and revealed she has cancer.

She divulged everything to Nora, who pledged her full support.

Then Doug was flustered when Ray lightly teased him about his blossoming friendship with Nikki.

PLANS DERAILED

Carol’s trip to visit Jack was derailed when she revealed to Tommy that her operation had been brought forward.

Meanwhile, Mairead decided to toughen up her managerial style when she noticed the results that Rafferty’s hardline approach got from Greg.

Dean offered his support when Mairead admitted her anxiety surrounding Tyler.

Fed up with Greg’s perceived lack of respect towards her, Mairead took a leaf from Rafferty’s book and lay down the law.

A stressed Greg spilt his anxiety to Mairead, admitting the pressure he feels to provide for his family.

Mairead softened and decided to cut Greg some slack.

Mairead felt guilty for being so hard on Greg and assembles her friends to help him out.
