Dad hired sex worker for son, 13, & warned him ‘don’t be a p***y’ – but insists ‘I’m a good father’ as he’s jailed

A DAD who hired a sex worker for his 13-year-old son has insisted “I’m a good father” despite being jailed.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, paid for two women to attend a hotel in London where one performed a sex act.

When his son told him he did not want to go through with it, the dad told him: “Don’t be a p***y”.

He also tried to get him to do a line of cocaine but the schoolboy said: “I’m f***ing 13, that’s ridiculous”.

The man today insisted he was a good father as he was jailed for four years for arranging for a child to engage in sexual activity and offering to supply cocaine.

He added: “I might not look like it in your eyes. It was only because he was feeling down because he’d broken up with his girlfriend and he said he’d done all that stuff before.”

Croydon Crown Court heard the boy’s mum had reluctantly agreed to let her ex look after their son for the night.

When the teen arrived, the dad offered him drugs and told him: “I’ve brought a brass”.

His son tried to refuse but was told the women were already in a cab on their way over so it was too late to cancel.

When they arrived, the man told the sex workers his son was 18 – as one took the schoolboy into a bedroom to perform a sex act on him.

The dad then paid the women £150 and they left the hotel, the court heard.

The boy’s mum had been messaging throughout the night but did not receive a reply until 4am that read: “P*** off, I’ll guard him with my life let the boy stretch his wings.”

When she later found out what happened, the mum took her son straight to the police station and the dad was arrested.

In his interview with officers, the boy said he didn’t want to go through with it and was left feeling disgusted.

The dad, who represented himself in court, said: “I’ve genuinely got a good heart.

“On paper I must sound like an absolute reprobate but that’s not the case at all.”

As well as a jail sentence, he was given a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) banning him from unsupervised contact with children.

The dad will also be subject to sex offence notification requirements for life.

Judge Antony Hyams-Parish told him he had attempted to humiliate his own son into going along with it.

He said: “He seems to be a very bright, intelligent and very sensible young man. But at 13, he was young and impressionable.

“As his father he no doubt looked up to you. He didn’t have a choice. He went along with what you asked.

“You clearly gave no thought to the impact on your son.”
