CADBURY has been bombarded with requests to bring back a childhood favourite this Christmas.
The chocolate theme park shared a video of a “childhood memory unlocked” – the 1p vending machine.

In a video on TikTok, they shared a look at the red machine, which featured “Chocolates” written at the top and two slots for one penny pieces.
They also used to have mini bars of Cadbury chocolate in them, and were massively popular as presents at Christmas.
In the clip, a woman was shown popping a coin in, before taking out one of the bars and holding it up delightedly.
“Childhood memory unlocked,” they wrote in the caption.
“Hands up who had one of these!”
The comments section was immediately filled with people weighing in, with one writing: “MAKE THEM AGAIN PLEASE!
“I loved mine in the 90s!”
“BRING IT BACK PLEASE,” another added.
“Best toy. These need bringing back,” a third commented.
“OMG please tell me you are gonna bring these back this was my favourite,” someone else wrote.
“BRING. THEM. BACK.,” another pleaded.
“Bloody hell yes,” someone else wrote.
“I loved mine omg this as thrown me back.
“I felt great putting 2p into get my chocolate been as I put it there in the first place.”
“Why did you stop making them?” another added.
“Best chocolate ever. My nan bought me a pack every Christmas.

Buy in Boxing Day sales – some retailers start their main Christmas sales early so you can actually snap up a bargain before December 25.
Delivery may cost you a bit more, but it can be worth it if the savings are decent.
Shop via outlet stores – you can save loads of money shopping via outlet stores like Amazon Warehouse or Office Offcuts.
They work by selling returned or slightly damaged products at a discounted rate, but usually any wear and tear is minor.

While others admitted they were always desperate to get their hands on one of the machines for Christmas.
“I asked for one of these nearly every year and I never got one,” one sighed.
“And now as an adult I can’t get one, what’s that all about?”
“I begged, i got 1, my mum ate all the choc from it before xmas so it was useless,” another added.
“I so wanted one of those. I know they’re gimmicky but….” someone else laughed.
And to try and get your hands on one of the machines now is a costly business.
As they’re being sold for upwards of £27 on auction sites such as eBay.
Some of them are even reaching that price with bits missing, showing just how much people want them.
In addition, while you can buy the chocolates that go inside on other websites, they aren’t from Cadbury, as they no longer making them.
