Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was one of the first celebrities to cast his vote as the Maharashtra Assembly elections began on Wednesday morning. The actor, known for his roles in films like Singham Again, arrived early at the polling station dressed in a black shirt and beige trousers.

Voting for the single-phase Maharashtra Assembly elections began at 7 a.m. and will continue until 6 p.m. on Wednesday. The elections are being held across 288 assembly constituencies, with millions of voters expected to participate in shaping the future of the state. Akshay Kumar’s early visit to the polling booth reflects his commitment to civic duties, and his friendly interactions with fans and media further emphasize the importance of engagement in the electoral process.
