A SWINGERS’ sex-swap night in a sleepy Scots town was cancelled after dozens of complaints from outraged residents.
Ads for the pop-up “members only adult club” said it would have bedrooms and a stripper pole to help “bring your fantasies to life”.
Its “Grand Opening” was set to take place tonight on the site of a former nightclub and bar in Kilwinning, Ayrshire.
The Black Rose was set to host the event, which has since been shut down.
But organisers DMC (Devil May Cry) Social appear to have taken cold feet after being warned they’d be breaching licensing laws.
Promos on social media claimed the venue would be the place to cultivate “unforgettable memories”.
Facilities also included a cinema, jacuzzi and a sauna.
Patrons were encouraged to “stay hydrated and physically fit for any activities that you engage in”.
Entry was to be £30 per couple, £20 for women and £40 for single men plus a £5 joining fee.
But outraged residents contacted local councillor Donald Reid in a bid to stop the club from opening.
He said: “Constituents were advised the premises had no live licence.
“North Ayrshire Council has a policy of no adult entertainment venues.”
It was feared enforcement would have to wait until after the club’s first night.
A police spokesman said: “We were aware of a proposed event planned for November 22.
“It’s been established this won’t take place.”
We have contacted the organisers for a comment.
